Game 5 showed the true potential of the late game TvP, as MVP really had that game won minus one mistake + Show Spoiler + no EMP on mothership/no BC spread. He explains himself that his miscontrol in that instance cost him the game, otherwise he feels mass BC in unkillable It was really wonderful to see Squirtle pull off 3 games of the comeback, he played his heart out, and I had tremendous respect for how he pulled out game 5. That being said, his play in game 7 was both jaw droppingly wonderful and head smashed into wall frustrating. Any protoss player who's faced and held a proxy 2rax knows that as soon as the push is held you need to babysit your stalkers intently, as they will win/lose you the game. After such a great hold, it hurt to see Squirtle lose his stalkers and subsequently the game anyways. Though giving credit where it's due, MVP's decision to flank with the marines was a brilliant tactic, and that alone imo earned him the win in that game) That series could not have surpassed my expectations moreso. | ||
