Last time he played a BO9 against a Korean (Ganzi), he lost 5-3, after being up 3-1, though, so I don't know if long series really do benefit him.

The same thing happened when Spanishiwa first showed up on the scene. Everyone though he was the best out there especially with his play style but one he had been out there for awhile people figured out he was mid teir at best as far as NA pro's go. The same thing will happen here as it did then as well. Also to be best NA zerg you have to top the likes of IdrA, Sheth, even Catz, Destiny, SLush, and Spanishiwa and 1 good tournament run just isn't good enough to prove that not even close. Scarlett's first LAN was not even close to Spanishiwa's first MLG. Spanishiwa was knocked out of loser's round third by FireZerg, beating no one of note. His 3rd MLG which you are probably refering to the best players he beat were Painuser, Theognis and KawaiiRice and he lost to TLO and illusion. Scarlett on the other hand beat Terious, Ddoro and DeMuslim, only losing to Koreans. And since then has not dropped a single match in the online tournaments she has competed in since, beating the likes of ZeNexAvenge and PhoeNix. Her one tournament run and subsequent matches have certainly put her in the discussion as one of the best NA zergs. And given the recent results of the players you listed, it would not be crazy to suggest she might be the best.
