No concave for terran and easy storm spots is a disaster for terran. Like people said Taeja needs to be more aggressive. Squirtle techs up so fast with very little zealot composition in his army. Taeja needs to take advantage of that. Squirtlle's mainly stalker based army will melt to marauders. I think Squirtle just takes advantage that Terran players are usually too scared to attack until they have medivacs and in that game Taeja's starport was very late.

We might see MVP vs. Squirtle rematch from their legendary GSTL match from last year where Squirtle made a name for himself as GoBoogie. Or we get a hour long pvp finals, in which case I'll probably check the score on TL and watch the first and last 20 minutes of the finals to get a quick look at what gomTV pulled together. Hardly alluring.

It is usually just the vocal minority complaining about it, you probably just want to ignore it.

However, if they go colossus you kinda insta lose There's no need for going "blind", seeing as how Terrans have scan at their disposal. Scanning can leave you with 5-6 less units or more in that fight comming up. Scanning is not free and can leave you quite underwhelmed. So is going for observers. Broodwar match-ups revolve around scouting information, which is why they are so fun to watch on the highest level. Terrans (in SC2) have the easiest time scouting with the "mandatory" early 2 orbitals. Heck, you can even use a repear early-mid for scouting purposes or a single medivac / viking.

Bah. If other players let him get away with it why would he stop? Never said he should change, he's making money. The fact that Squirtle is still relevant is just sad, that's all. He has always been a timing attack based player and it's just shitty to watch. Lol.... I think it's a testament to how little you understand SC2 that you could say something this ignorant. Timing attacks are simply the most efficient type of attack -- attacking when YOU have a concrete advantage. It makes zero sense to wish it were any other way..... Lol. . .just because you heard Day9 say that doesn't make it so. If you move in just a you get +3/+3, that's not a "timing attack".

But man, we been seeing terran dominance for a year now, GSL was called GomTvT for a reason, and one GSL the Terran's are not over represented in the ro8 and its all this crying!? Give me a break, look at Protoss for the last 10 or so months before this...

People have never used them defensively early midgame and let them build energy. But agreed, it will make you vulnerable to 2base colossi pushes. But thats not very common in current meta game (apart from Squirtle of course, who did it both today and few times at IPL4).
