The objective is to deal as much damage to the T as possible. With this build, T can't just draw 4 SCVs, he has to draw as many as necessary to force damage. If T doesn't walk away without the Nexus dead, the game is over. The objective is to knock out the Nexus. They are both builds directly designed to deal with specific weaknesses, while using strengths. Or is that too abstract for you to comprehend. While I agree, it was still imo pretty stupid by Happy to attack the nexus, as he could've just won the game right there with a bunker in range of the pylon/gateway, rather than just go "kill nexus go home"

I can only imagine that he tested this sufficiently, and found it better/more reliable to kill the Nexus. Maybe he didn't expect the P buildings to be so close to the top of the ramp. Or there is some cutoff time at which it's too late to start another bunker.

But Ganzi beating P can be surprising <3 7/7 actually because the Boxer vote didn't count either way. Also Ganzi is good vs. P now so it is no shocker to anyone watching him recently (unless you see him vs. HuK, for some reason Ganzi can't do crap against HuK but he can take out plenty of other top Protoss).

He's played a million games to prepare for this match, and he's beaten MVP in the past... not to mention he's been on stage before and I can't really see him as the kind of player to get jittery. Anyways, I do hope we see Naniwa's top form, and I hope that MVP's injury doesn't flare up! I hope Naniwa takes it 3-2 ![]()

I mean, I'm not even a fan of Naniwa, but this is serious stuff, doesn't happen often - and who knows, might not happen any time soon again. Most foreigners and many Koreans will cheer for Naniwa on this day. Probably even MVP himself will sneak in the toilet and secretly be like "Na-ni-wa! Na-ni-wa!" Then he goes out and still plays his best. ![]()
