Parting knew exactly when siege mode was going to be done, even though he didn't know there were tanks at all? He knew when siege mode was gonna be done when even Foxer would not know at what time siege mode was going to be done if you had asked him before the game, as it would be slightly different for every game?
Please, tell me more about how he knew exactly when siege mode was going to be done or when the 8 medivac drop was going to go out. I beg you.

I wasn't even looking that far, I was more thinking either really early tech or macro mechanic that could reliably hold P pressure. Z can hold P with a huge flood of units. The issue is that T tech is gimmicky and quickly useless and a liability for the rest of your game. Sure you can hold gateway attacks with early +2gas after CC and siege or cloak, but it's so far off the typical investment path that it's basically do or die.
Both P/Z more generally rely on the direction of their macro mechanic to bolster their build. It's poured into units at the expense of econ, or vice versa. But if you read that it's countered, you can cut your losses, keep a large unit count to defend the upcoming timings, and not be too offstride.
T doesn't necessarily sac econ because there is no T macro mechanic that cranks troops vs econ, but actually sacs army size/strength in a really bad way. The T army is actually significantly weaker with investment into shee/tank if the bet is wrong. So either make the tech needed more relevant, or introduce appropriate macro mechanic based defense.
