because it takes a long time to get ultras and broodlords at the same time. It is much better off forcing an over respond from terran (too much viking/marauders) then transition to the other path.
OR get both once the army traded fairly evenly and have time to get both ultras and broodlords

I think this would be really silly as there is still a chance he could have made the final still, but it would be good tihnking to mindgame considering that large tourneys might be coming up and he didn't want to give away his zvt style just for polt

I'm not talking about making a BL / Ultra army.
But going only ultra is bad. Ultra ling infestor, or Ultra ling bane are what you should be aimed at.
Having 12 Ultra and nothing else is BAD.
