After that, Ret was in a tough position, with Ultra tech able to come up way quicker than BL, and Polt capable of pushing out 5 vikings at once. Give Polt credit for a smart, decisive move in an otherwise unwinable position. As for the brainless wonders who don't understand why Ret went in before the infestors came out, it's because Polt was moving his tanks/marines into position around Ret's 5th (well, 4th since the 3rd died.... Whatever.) If he let him get there and seige, 6 infestores would've made no difference. He was down like 60 supply, and losing one of his only two mining bases was a quick way to ensure the game was over. If you want to criticize his play, there are other things you can do that make more sense than criticizing that particular decision. | ||
