Dreamhack always had these numbers. They were low earlier because the first group stage is not very interesting.

I'm pretty impressed with the viewership, 35K for a bunch of meaningless matches is pretty good.

Except MLG gets a lot more than just ad revenue from each of their viewers...

Semmler is great.

15k is huge for MLG because each one of those viewers is a paying customer. They're getting a lot of doe; DH is not.

Semmler is quickly becoming my favourite interviewer, he just looks excited to be there, which is nice to see. Plus, he's terrible at asking actual questions, which is hilarious.

It is hilarious but there are many interviewers who are better imo, like Hot Bid, Day9, 2GD, Seltzer, Haypro etc. It will be interesting to see Incontrol do it tomorrow.

Yeah I'm tuning out after wasting time on that Naniwa match - I'll tune in tomorrow.

He's definitely a fun guy :p

They are painful to watch.

Hopefully he can get some more confidence because it would be a shame if he hosts like he interviews.

Suggesting Naniwa threw that game is insane.

Is it?

Actually, it's far more likely that he just considered Hyun a joke and wasn't trying.

Wat? Why would Naniwa consider Hyun a joke?

I don't know how much NaNi knows about him but the last time he played in GSL, he wasn't convincing in the very least.

Come on now, Hyun qualified for Code A in his first try after playing for less then half a year and had the bad luck to hit Taeja, a code S player first round. To say he didnt look convincing is unfair to him tbh.

Fair enough, couldn't remember who he played.

Even if naniwa didn't want to show his practiced strats, he should at least lose in a little bit more graceful fashion. Those games were just ugly.

Even if naniwa doesn't want to show any strong strategies i don't see why he couldn't use one of the solid gsl builds,he was either very confident and for some reason bored and didn't want to try or i dunno...

Dreamhack doesn't need to make PPV qualifiers to do well enough to continue to develop and expand ^^
