kas > diestar happy > Feast viOlet > adelscott beastyqt < stephano
3-1 Empire.
|
3-1 empire. 4-0 when beastyqt shows his best game or when stephano is still in the holiday.
|
my predictions are that this will be a close one.
kas 2-0 Feast 2-1 Violet 2-0 Stephano 2-1
Ace match I think Kas vs Stephano ( I suppose violet is also a possible Ace but zvz is pretty risky), and kas wins 2-1, 3-2 empire
|
4-0 including walkover for Beastyqt.

Doesn't EGMCSL usually announce walkovers in advance? If the games hadn't been played, there swould be a note in the OP, I think.
|
These games were played at least a week in advance, I think it was before Stephano went on vacation.
|
Games were played before IPL4, at least for Stephano and Feast
|
I could see this going to an ace. It will most likely depend on Happy vs Feast as Kas/Violet/Stephano are favorites in their respective matches.
Also beasty might surprise
|
Adel will beat Violet, you read it first here. His PvZ is that awesome. Stephano is just so much better than Bqt, so 2 - 0 for M. I think Diestar or Feast can get a bo3 from their opponents, so I'd say 3 - 1 for M.
|
Millenium 3-2
Feast and Stephano take their matches, then Feast wins in the ace match.
|
Do they play all 4 games no matter what? cuz I see a lot of people voting 3-1 to Empire, but I don't see Stephano losing so I fail to see how that makes sense :/
|

Yup
|
Stephano didn't manage to play any game this week. i'm sure its a walkover for Beastyqt.
|
All comes down to whether or not Feast can take out Happy or not, the rest of the games seem fairly easy to predict.
|
Millinium just needs 1 win to get it to the ace match. Feast been busy with school but lets hope he can get back in shape quick. Ill say 3-2 to millnium unless they dont use Stephano in the Ace match or if he is still on holliday
|
If Stephano and Beasty play, I'm willing to put money on Beasty. Most underrated Terran in the world. I guarantee you he's top 3 foreigner in the scene right now.

I agree he is very underrated and veyr good but top 3 foreigner?

This will be the year of Beasty.

Interesting clan war for Millenium. After the disappointing loss against GoSu and the hard fought loss against Mouz (best team overall), they have to make a statement. With Stephano being Code S material and Feast following his footsteps, Millenium has a power duo that is capable of beating anyone else. On the other hand, Empire is still one of the best team aroud and both of them are contending for the title of 2nd best team in Europe with the priceless addition of viOlet.
Kas > DieStar : DieStar is a player that should be rated higher than he is. He has a very good macro and made real progress lately. However consistency is a big factor here. Kas finally won a tournament in Copenhagen and he performs usually better online than offline. Both of them have a similar TvT on a rather equivalent level. I give the edge to Kas simply for online consistency.
Happy < Feast : Happy, the ladder hero. Somehow Empire terrans are all powerhouse online but fail to deliver in tournaments. Happy is no stranger to that silly tendency. He faces a very good Protoss who is a master of PvT. If this were offline, there is no way Feast would lose and would take this 2-0. However online games are one of his weak point but he should still be able to best Happy fairly easily.
viOlet < Adelscott : On paper, there is no comparison. However Adel has been eating Zergs for breakfast for a while and his adaptable 5Gate pressure on 2 bases is the real deal against macro zergs (Maybe even the solution to the 12min max roach). Plus I have insider knowledge so I give him the win.
Beastyqt < Stephano : Sorry Beastyqt, Stephano kicked your ass when he was still just a hipster favorite and today won't be any different.
Empire 1 - 3 Millenium

Do you know the results? Won't be fair knowing it.
I do think BeastyQT is underrated, but Top 3 foreigner Terran isn't enough to take out Stephano. Stephano is favorite against Kas and Thorzain. Hell, when it comes to foreigner Terrans, Lucifron is the only Terran I put around 50:50 against Stephano.
But hey, BeastyQT is able to upset.

Empire 1 - 3 Millenium When did Feast ever become a master of PvT? That's his best matchup and has been so for a long time. He is no PartinG but he can hold his own. I recommend the IEM Kiev, MMA vs. Feast where the latter played better game-wise but lost to MMA's wits and mindgames (and gold base). The revenge on IEM WC was quite one-sided but in the groupstage he 2-0ed Kas (top 3 EU T) and SuperNoVa who despite being bad in international tournaments is still in Ro8 of GSL Code S.

waiting for adel vs violet and stephano vs beastyqt. should be 2-0 for both zergs!

ill take that bet mr. bitter! i don't think he can compete with ma boy stephy i think ive seen them play on ladder and stephano just steamrolls

Wasn't stephano on his ski trip when these were played?

6 Stargate? Are we going to see a carrier transition from Feast? Great game so far.
Scratch that 12 stargate and graviton catapult

I like where this game is going.

3-0 Empire or 3-2 Millenium in ace match. Depends if Feast beats Happy.

This game has taught me that, despite the fact that I've never built a carrier in a game before, I should continue not to.

AHAHAHA Happy can force a draw at worst, if he snipes the remaining buildings he can actually take a win here lmao, such a weird series.

And happy's english is pretty good.

I feel like happy could've left the drop threatening near Feast's base and started muling and won eventually. Oh well.

Looking good for Empire, well played so far!
Two good series, a bit sad that such good games are broadcasted today when almost no one's watching.

violet looked pretty sloppy that game. never been a big fan but he should be able to take adel down 2-1.

demuslim "adel plays some of the douchiest starcraft ive ever seen". well demuslim, hate to break it to you but yours is pretty gimmicky too!

EG should be ashamed of Demuslim attitude against adelscott :/

well, i guess some people cannot stand any semi-fun "hates" between 2 players that know and even like each other, so yeah, he should probably be a bit more careful with his words although i personally dont care at all, because tbh, he is right with most of what he says.

I don't think that "most of his forcefield are horrible, he just doesn't deserve any win" is semi fun and likely

ridiculously good by stephano.
|
Nice multitasking but I'm not sure it's going to be enough
|
Good game by Beasty, but not good enough. His style depends on out multi-tasking Stephano but that just didn't happen - Stephano slipped up a few, but never enough for Beasty to do big damage ie taking down the third. Beasty's style doesn't have fast upgrades to deal with Stephano late-game.

Felt sloppy from both sides, with beatyqt not on top of his multitasking but stephano made more mistakes and beatyqt deserved the win.

Heh, Stephano just lost clan war against Beasty. At the end of the day MrBitter was right. Really, you just can't say Beasty isn't one of top players.
But it is easy to miss how good Beasty is, he doesn't Stream, he doesn't "advertise" himself and he doesn't travel that much and most important he didn't win anything major (as far as I know) but he is really good player.
|
Well played by Beasty, too bad we don't see alot of him nowadays.
|
Neither Beasty nor Happy go to enough tournaments to garner attention to themselves - that's the problem. While Beasty did just take a series off of Stephano, it ultimately doesn't do a lot for him as a player until he gets to the big tournaments

One of the reasons I am somewhat sceptical about all the praise is that he is not a newcomer or something like some seem to think. He was already that good or even better a year ago. But since then not that much has happened in terms of tournament success..

Same with Happy. He and Beasty used to be hyped a lot as up and coming Terrans, but then they went to a few tournaments, didn't do that well, and then just stopped coming.
Empire sends Violet to everything, but the rest of their players get no love.

Lucifron is overrated, Strelok hasn't done anything in forever, and Bratok is decent.

But since then not that much has happened in terms of tournament success.. Yeah but when last time you saw him streaming? Maybe I am just missing it every day but can't remember last time I saw his stream... Idk, he used to stream a ton. No idea what happened. Sucks because he was one of my favorite streamers!

OHHHH SHIT!!! EMPIRE WITH DA STOMP ON MILLENIUM Oo

Empire is a very underrated team. They were strong before they picked up Violet cause of their Terrans, but with the addition of Violet, that gives them more depth and a hell of a player.

Most underrated Terran in the world. I guarantee you he's top 3 foreigner in the scene right now. im sorry he might be underrated and have promise but calling hi ma top 3 foreigner is just plain retarded I am pretty sure he ment top 3 foreigner Terran which isn't far from truth. I could see that, cant think of too many top class foreign terrans, kinda interesting considering how many of the good Korean players are Terran. I can name three probably better, and a few possibly better. His two teammates are one such, though Kas is more likely a top 3 Terran than Happy. Thorzain for sure, Demuslim. Lucifron, Strelok, Bratok are probably also better than BeastyQT. Beasty is a type of player that often looks fantastic when you watch him, he does a lot of cute stuff. But in the end he always just falls short of being really succesful. Lucifron is overrated, Strelok hasn't done anything in forever, and Bratok is decent. I don't see how it would be a stretch to say Beastyqt is better than them.
Actually i would say Strelok is overrated, LucifroN is the best of the bunch by a fair way and that BratOK is underrated. In all honesty i would say LucifroN > Beasty > BratOK > Strelok

No surprise. viOLet shouldn't have lost to Adel and Stephano shouldn't have lost to BeastyQT, but otherwise I think 3-1 was the result almost everyone expected.

He hasn't had tournament success because he hasn't been playing in tournaments. When he starts going, he'll start winning. Guaranteed.
