People have wildly different ideas of what qualifies as amazing, good and bad as well. These terms are just as subjective and arbitrary as 1,2,3, or 4 stars.

Sure, but not in the same way. I'm saying that even if two people get exactly the same enjoyment out of a particular game, there its a large chance that one of them will vote 3/5 and the other one votes 5/5.

That will not happen with anywhere near the same probability with a amazing/good/bad system.

Where we last left our ~~brave~~ dead ~~Villains~~ heroes

and with everyone not rereading part 1, 2 or 3 we start our adventure on a shiny new disc telling the tales of the princess and Mrcon who ditched the main party to have their own game

With all the main heroes left the game is forced to go to the second party who were continently away from all the war zones of the first disc there are several jokes about how Zhurai actually did something useful with her white magic and how Mr Con attacked Choco the group finally reach the southern gate which Zhurai blew up in disc 1.

Well its better than controlling SeeKeR I guess

The side party end up meeting up with Tantalus with Cinna going off to Lindblum and Marcus joining the party heading towards Treno in order to start a side plot to find the magical potion to heal Blanc. There is some event with the train getting attacked by Black Waltz the third who somehow survived the events of the first disc unfortunately Marcus is a weaker version of SeeKeR and Mr Con and Zhurai are so low level that the fight would be impossible if it wasn't for the fact it ends the moment Mr Con and Marcus die...

Why do all bosses revolve around killing my characters

Avoiding the game over screen with only Zhurai alive on the world map the group finally get to Treno where they go all scooby do and separate from one another with main control now going to Mr Con while you can work out where the party members have gone through the use of the ATEs which is only 1 of 2 ATEs I will watch during the entire game which sadly involves Zhurai being pick pocketed by Alleyway Jack.

And this is why we never watch ATEs

Chasing down Alleyway jack with Mr Con I get the power belt which is basically an OP accessory Mr Con will never get to use because its a lot more use for SeeKeR. Mr Con finally finds Zhurai looking at Kuja in the auction house ( Which has nothing of value until disc 3 ) and they meet up with Marcus at the Inn where they go and steal the supersoft from Zhurai's old teacher

One side plot down...

Marcus decides to join the group to Alexandria so he can free Blanc which involves solving a three room dungeon puzzle that you are supposed to use to level up Mr Con and Zhurai. I really only use it for the Moogle Tent and to level marcus up at least once before engaging on the boss.

Easiest dungeon in my life

Killing one enemy levels marcus up which allows me to solve the puzzle with ease and escape the terrifying music of Gargan Roo. There is a small boss fight that involves perfect luck and potion / heal spam from Marcus and Zhurai while Mr Con beats it down before it can kill everyone. With the boss dead the music finally ends and the party reach Alexandria tunnels.

and this is why no sane person plays FF9

Well they're all dead...

And Zhurai actually becomes snow white

now back to the relevant plot line

Pretty easy boss in the end...

Hassy was so bad at dancing it broke the sandstorm

Puck now more annoying than in Dota
