(Wiki)ESEA 4

[United States] #1 Team Legion
0-0-0 (.000)

[Brazil] #5 KEYD TEAM

0-0-0 (.000)

Tue, Apr 17th at 6:00pm
LgN < keyd 2-3 by xSixSuppy
This is going to be another nice match that again, I think should be fairly close. Both of these teams have strong lineups, especially with Keyd's addition of Everize and Maker. Potiguar is a bit of a wild card - he 2-0'd GoldenLighT and then got 2-0'd by Under Rated Gaming's Frosticle, so I am not sure how he will perform here. Legion has several strong players as well, and I think if they can clinch it before the ace they can take this match, but if it goes to ace, Maker stands a good chance at winning the match for Keyd.

[United States] #6 Its GoSu eSports
0-0-0 (.000)

[United States] #2 PMSH2O Pro

0-0-0 (.000)

Tue, Apr 17th at 6:00pm
GoSuSC2 > PMSH2O 4-0 by xSixSuppy
While Technoboy or some other player on PMS|H2O might take a match, I think this matchup should be relatively easy for It's Gosu, the previous season winners.

[United States] #3 Impressive Play

0-0-0 (.000)

[United States] #13 Team Clash
0-0-0 (.000)

Tue, Apr 17th at 6:00pm
iP < Clash 1-3 by xSixSuppy
Impressive Play's strongest player, iPCake, has not played yet this season, and so I think Impressive Play is not quite as strong as last season. Clash continues to improve and with their strong Korean lineup and ace ClashMoOk, I think they should be able to clinch the win.

[United States] #19 Visionary Gaming

0-0-0 (.000)

[Singapore] #4 Infinity Seven
0-0-0 (.000)

Tue, Apr 17th at 6:00pm
visG < iS 1-3 by xSixSuppy
Infinity Seven recently qualified for IPL TAC 3, beating teams like NrG and imba.FXOpen. In particular, Insur and Axslav both played very well. Infinity Seven has the stronger lineup and should be able to take this match, with Visionary taking possible wins with read more . . .

I updated all the games that were played pretty much, it's pending approval from a Liquipedia mod before you can see it though (you can hit "draft" however and see the updated results)

My *biased* power rank:

1. Check Six Gaming
+ Show Spoiler +

They recently qualified for IPL TaC 3, and are playing really damn well with Suppy Sleep and Mystik leading their strong charge. They are playing extremely well; even better than the other IPL TaC 3 Qualifier 1 qualifying team; iS

2. Infinity Seven
+ Show Spoiler +

With Axslav, JEcho, and CrazyMovING playing extremely well, as well as Insur proving himself recently in IPL TaC 3 qualifiers, they make a heavy case for the #1 spot, but without someone *quite* as good as Sleep I put them in a close second

3. Its Gosu
+ Show Spoiler +

Narrowly losing to x6 in IPL TaC 3 qualifiers, they are playing super well with Hwangsin, tgun, ViBE, Kingdom, and the rest of them rolling their way forward, they are indeed gosu

4. LighT
+ Show Spoiler +

KawaiiRice and Golden are two top players who can compete with anyone, and they also have a deep roster with heavens, caliber, binski, among other top players. They can easily beat anyone with arguably the second best player in the league on their side in Golden.

5. Clash
+ Show Spoiler +

Clash has been proven to be an extremely strong team, beating Dignitas 5-4 in IPL TaC 3 qualifiers. Look out for mOOk, panther, presto, ZaiZai, Mercy, and the rest of their powerful squad to go far in this league. mOOk has been playing extremely well recently in playhems and other daily cups as well. Look out for Clash (and their gosu manager virgil)

6. Team Legion
+ Show Spoiler +

I am Team Legion's General Manger so what will be said is in all likelihood biased
+ Show Spoiler +

With Luxury rejoining Team Legion, they have a top korean protoss on their side, who can beat anyone at the top level of play; maintaining a high grandmasters account on KR server and winning a recent playhem daily NA. Also with giX playing exceptionally well at zerg, an avilo coming to form in all matchups, not just TvT they look scary vs anyone. Also WhispeR, a little known top 10 GM Random player has been proving himself winning extremely good games against players like AlexCmoi on cvg, Reborn has been playing well as a top terran, and Kane is always a good player. With Theory being a strong protoss player, their team looking exceptionally strong.

7. Quantic Gaming
+ Show Spoiler +

They do not have all their best players on their roster, with Naniwa, Sase, and Apocalypse not on their ESEA roster taking away from what would be almost undoubtably the best ESEA team. Left in the wake is an extremely strong terran Theognis, Destiny, Agh, Shuffle, and Flo, which still leaves them with a strong roster. In ace matches, if they can get to them, theognis can take anyone in the league.

8. Area 51 Gaming
+ Show Spoiler +

Losing to Quantic in a close series, they are an extremely strong team with a new pickup Drunkenboi who has been dominate. They also have Raine who has preformed well in CSN events, as well as other strong players on their roster. look out for A51!

9. Convergence Gaming
+ Show Spoiler +

Convergence has some extremely strong players on their team such as YaTa AlexCmoi, and Sasquatch, who have all proven themselves immensly. Losing to Legion 3-1 undercuts a bit of their potential, but they are clearly still a strong team.

10. vVv gaming
+ Show Spoiler +

Seohyeon is an extremely strong player, as well as RockeR and Hasuu being very good. We will see their strength against LgN this thursday!

My top 10 teams in ESEA ^^

Wow wattabeast you really are a beast! I am definitely going to include that in next week's writeup if that's good with you! Also sorry for the mistake with Legion on the original power rank, I forgot to press edit I guess and it didn't go through

Great coverage as always!! I only wish ESEA would get their stuff fixed/updated >.<. Gonna be a tough match for us vs ItsGosu tonight, as we are still kind of "discovering" our team

CrazymoviNG is better than Sleep imo! But I guess that's why it's a power rank.

I believe CrazyMoviNG is atleast around "quite" the same level as Sleep, would be a great showmatch to make happen sometime!

I'm surprised you put Sleep at such a large gap above people like Golden, HwangSin, and CrazyMoviNG, wattabeast.

would be a pretty awesome thought for ESEA or someone else to organize a showmatch tournament with the very elite players who play in ESEA. i think the average viewer might be surprised at the high level of skill in the league with players such as the above aforementioned.

well i said golden was basically equal; and crazymoving/hwangsin play from korea so i factored in the idea of latency from korea-->NA, which was my reasoning, to be honest i think crazymoving is slightly better than sleep atm if they played in a LAN event, with hwangsin slightly below sleep, but this is an online tournament so i placed sleep above crazymoving.

sleep has been tearing up local lans, and played exceptionally well at the CSN hosted tournament in texas where + Show Spoiler +
stephano won
called the Lone Star Clash. While Hwangsin is really good i still would place sleep a slight bit ahead
