If it goes to 2 - 2, M wins as Stephano > any mouz player.
So it's up to Diestar, Adel or Dragon to win ONE bo3 against their opponent, as Stephano will beat Thorzain. It is difficult, but doable. So 40% M - 60% Mouz.

Dragon and Stephano win for Millenium, Morrow and Mana for Mouz. I don't see Mouz putting up Thorzain in the ace if he's just lost to Stephano, so it'll probably be Morrow. He should lose to either Dragon or Stephano, but I think Millenium will field Stephano.

What makes you think Dragon will beat HasuObs? Dragon hasn't done anything substantial since leaving SlayerS.

Yeah, looks like 3-1. Diestar could potentially make an upset, but daybreak says "NO!".

Do not forget that:
Morrow-> rush 70 drone no unit
Adel-noscout -> 2 base semi all in
I wonder if Morrow knows that Adel is so aggressive.

Only Stephano is not enough, Millenium needs Feast if they want to beat a top team like mouz.

No idea why Millenium chosed to use Adelscott and Diestar over Feast.

With Feast I would be sure Millinium would take it now im not so sure.

If it goes to ace match Millinium wins

He beat Bomber last week how shaky is that? and He beat polt and Puma a month ago. His ZvT is fine yes its his weakest matchup but still good enough to beat any1 except the absolut top TvZ players in the world.

Stephano 2-0 Thorzain easymode

Feast is busy with exams atm, that's probably why ! I think Diestar can beat Mana but it will be very close. 2-2, then Stephano takes the ace match.

Thorzain vs Stephano should be damn good. Otherwise looks like a bunch of easy wins for Mouz.

He will, it was played a couple of days before he flew to IPL and he stopped streaming in order to play the games against Thorzain.

Also, Azael seems to be sick, as posted on his twitter, so Machine will probably have to solo-cast. I don't envy him.

I'm going to tune in for Stephano vs Thorzain, I'm always excited to see games between those two.

I'm calling an upset with Millenium winning. Someone will take a point and then Stephano will win his game and the ace.

This clanwar is one of the most anticipated for both teams. Links between the players are strong and they know each other playstyle. Feast is currently preparing for his highschool exams and apparently wasn't fielded for this match. Given that, Mouz has the potential to win 4-0.

DieStar < MaNa : During the long winter 2012 for europeans terrans, DieStar was among the top 5. Now that Kas finally won something I'm not sure where he stands. Traditionnally his weakness has been PvT which is accidentally MaNa's strong point. DieStar could take one game but I don't see him winning. Both of them are macro players with MaNa having a superior unit control and that will be the turning point.

Adelscott < MorroW : Adel PvZ ... is predictable. I don't see how he could win against Morrow if he isn't able to see when it's safe to take a 3rd - of course that's a real challenge in PvZ. MorroW should be able to win. However Adel is crazy strong in clanwar so an upset is possible.

Stephano < ThorZaIN : I'm going to give this one to the swedish terran, arguably the best terran in Europe and probably outside of Korea. Stephano is of course the best foreigner but ... well you all know the drill by now : Will he show up ? Will he play to his fullest ? Will he care ? One no -> 2-0.

Dragon < HasuObs : Dragon showed some promises in IPL4, but it won't he enough here. Still I'm curious to see how Dragon will affect Millenium's reputation severely tainted by Stephano's erratic behavior, but that's not for today.

Guys ofc Stephano will show, or rather I should say, he DID show. These games are played about a week or so in advance, so if Stephano didn't show, we'd know just like when he was supposed to play DDE.

LLewellys (millenium manager) said on his stream that Adel had beat a world class zerg on EG cup. I'm pretty sure he talked about MorroW. The game will be closed but I think Dragon can beat Hasu. I predict a 2-2 or a 3-1 for millenium

I don't really care about this since I will be sleeping, but if you don't spoiler this in the next minute you're going to get some troubles. Even if it's just rumors.

My predictions are:

DieStar < Mana
Adel < Morrow
Stephano > Thorzain
Dragon > Hasu

I don't think Thorzain can really beat Stephano with his slow style. I think to beat Stephano as T you have to be very aggressive.

I would expect
Adel < Morrow
Diestar < Mana
Stephano > Thorzain (if stephano shows ofc)
Dragon < Hasu
But both dragon,. diestar and adelscott all have a decent shot at taking their matches. And I don't think thorzain has a realistic shot at taking down stephano in a bo3 unless stephano is a no-show. Thorzain is not utilizing an aggressive style like mma, stephano is great at reading opponents and taking small but significant advantages. Also even if zvt is the weakest of stephano's matchups that is just because his other matchups are so far beyond any foreigner except perhaps the ones in Korea (in particular Huk/Naniwa + maybe SaSe).

And if the "spoiler" earlier in this thread is true then:
+ Show Spoiler +

Millenium should win 3-2 if they can get stephano to play ace match, otherwise mouz wins 3-2.

The part he really improved is his activity. He used to be a laid back macro terran in TvP but he really prepared more aggressive builds. It's not top notch but it's certainly on the better end of the EU Terran spectrum.

Diestar really threw away game two o.o

And iNcontroL is one of the only casters who can solo cast imo. He's both hilarious and analytic at the same time. Interpretive dance strategies ftw ^^

Incontrol handles the solo casting so well. This is the first time I've tuned into the MCSL (only so many hours in a day) but will definitely doing so frequently from now on.

Also loving the name announcer. LOL. Who is that?

SaSe is more handsome than Thorzain! :O

Edit : MorroW shouldn't have died to Adelscott 2 base 5 gate pressure in the first gate if he knew it was coming. Adelscott has a plain but crisp early game and a smooth transition to mid game that every other pro should know and abuse of, particularly when you know he is prone to be stubborn in his pressure and daring in his expansion. Good games from Adel but poor showing from MorroW.

It's a one gate expand (most of the time) with a 5 gate push afterwards. Variations occurs with some +1 timings or 1 more gate.

Stephano allways got Thorzain number I think he only lost 1 serie to thorzain ever and I lost count on how many times he won. Maybe its becuase of stephano agressive play that dont suit thorzain well

Stephano has lost countless games on non-lethal baneling/roach busts, so the argument of incontrol stands. However the incorporation of roaches into his early game ZvT seems to be his go to build since LSC and his mighty Polt rivalry.

Before that game Thorzain had a 6-7 record vs Stephano. I don't think Stephano has his number at all. In fact he is the only foreign terran who can compete with him.

Actually, I am a fan of Thorzain, but I have to say his record against Stephano is pretty bad... I think he has never won a bo3-5 against him... I hope he does it now though.

Good games, but IMO Thorzain lost his two game because of positioning. In his first loss, he held Stephano's roaches but gave away too many tanks right after. And in that last game, he didn't bring his Thors in that choke where the game-chaning battle took place.

Well it appears Millenium will win it after all. Even if Hasu wins, the ace match will most likely be Stephano's game to lose. Pivotal Adel win.

Stephano's Broodlord's win that massive decisive battle. Somewhat slow-paced game.

Thorzain seems reluctant to make drops.

Generally love seeing zerg win but ... sigh ... stupid ghost nerf. terran with a 3K/3K bank on 5-6 bases and still unable to match the zerg militarily. This was the nestea v mvp game w/out ghosts.

Should Thorzain have sacked more scvs to free up supply or what could he have done to capitalize on his maxed upgraded mech/bio army? More Ravens? More drops? No point to dropping aside from sniping tech structures at that point. Not an easy task.

Good things from Thorzain - good macro, fast upgrades, cost efficient play.

Bad things from Thorzain - way too passive late game vs. brood lord infestor.

The biggest weakness of brood lord infestor is its mobility, and Terrans who know how to exploit that are able to do well vs. it.

So frustrating to watch such stellar amazing play from thorzain seemingly doing everything right. But even against that infestor broodlord still makes it look like he's any other platinum scrub. While I agree Ultra's died too easily to ghosts, there is no effective and cost effective counter in the game to broodlord infestor. The game shouldn't automatically end if one player reaches a certain amount of 1 unit. Zerg is the only race that has such a luxury. Corrupters too good against anything that might counter them in the sky still having to deal with fungal.

All we can do now is hope that HoTS will provide us with enough change that we'll see less of this "gets 10 BL and 10 infestor, auto wins". I think they're great units design wise and would work great in the game if the other wasn't there too.

And this is coming from someone who plays random.

Multiple drops, nukes, ghost harass, hatch snipes, forcing the zerg out of position...

When MMA beat Stephano at IPL, he chased him over the entire map and hit whereever Stephano was not. Thorzain was pretty passive this match.

Yeah, more Raven and more drops. You have to use mobility, a head-on-engagement is always (a bit) in favor of Broodlords.
PDDs were really nice. I don't saw any seeker missiles. They would have been nice since Stephanos Broodlords were a bit clumped up.

I feel that Millenium made a mistake by playing Feast instead of Stephano. Feast is good, but not the best player on the team. I wonder what their rationale for that decision was.

And I know that Feast is damn good (although merely showing that he got fourth in a tournament probably isn't the best argument for that)... but, again, I was stressing the point that he's not the best player.

EDIT: 2-0 Thorzain over Feast in ace match, and Thorzain made it look pretty easy.

gg wp, glad Mouz won

Can't send out a Protoss vs. Thorzain, he eats protoss alive. Best ghost control in the world.

stephano wasn't available, i remembered him play against thorzain just before his trip to las vegas (ipl4). Dragon is not ready yet maybe if feast played instead of him, moreover diestar was close to victory, nonetheless gg mousesport !

You're implying it's possible to get Stephano to play two Bo3s online in a row :D

So... Millenium actually lost again because Stephano wasn't around? Much like the KTFlash and JaedongOZ teams of old, we have... Team Stephenium -____-

Great day of games! incontrol enjoyable as always ^^

I'm not sure stephano beats thorzain again in the ace match either. It would have been a close match up again for sure.

Didn't mention it in my previous post but here's one more high five for you geoff....

I usually cannot stand solo casts but you just blew me away tonight man. I feel so blown right now, if you blew me anymore I would've been satisfied for days. But alas, you could only blow so much.... can't blame ya. All I can do is thank you for the incredible job you did. Such a nice job.

Hhaha sorry sorry, seriously tho man unless its you and Demuslim... the two most charismatic guys on EG....and you guys have great casting chemistry together, unless its you two I would much much much prefer you to solo cast. Simply because you seem to be quite a bit more relaxed and you also have plenty of time to call the action as well as make me actually laugh.... which unfortunately if it isn't Tastosis up there in the casting clouds of heaven then I'm not laughing almost ever, and even with them its usually just like ahhaaaa they so silly I love them. But you actually had me laughing quite a few times.... the suicide hotline hahhaha. Great job tonight brother, hopefully like I said you do more solo casts unless its Benjamin up there in the cloud with ya.

k thats enough jerkage for one post.

LMAO HAHAHHA JUST AS I POST THIS ARTOSIS HAS ME DYING LAUGHING!!!! Hahhaha oh shit

He got you good Geoff, he called it an "Incontrol Pylon" with such force and gravitas in his voice hahaha

Morrow is is not bad. Last week, he won 2-0 gainst Zenio without much trouble. Adelscott has just improved lately, which was to expect, because he moved into Milleniums teamhouse. If you just go by results (which is, what you do in your post), Adelscott has also a winning ratio against MVP.

TSL was a preparation-based tournament, that's why he did good and that's why Thorzain won. Adelscott is actually a player that could immensely from a Korean coaching. His style rely on careful preparation and with a Korean coach he could prepare well enough to compete in Code B and even after some training attain Code A. And a lot of things tends to indicate Millenium is looking to expand in Korea ...

Never bet on Stephano in team leagues or smallish tournaments.

Well that's a bit silly considering his record of wins in them in 2012. Stephano did not lose this for Millenium. Might as well blame AdelScott, makes as much sense as blaming Stephano.

Instead let's give props to Thorzain, Mana and Hasu for winning their games.

Oh and InControl was full of hilarity today! Props to him too.
