Being 6'3 and riding coach I'm exhausted any long flight because I literally cannot sleep. ~24 hour travel (driving, airport, flight, airport, driving, hotel) can be exhausting.

That said I would prefer single elim, or something like a pool system into a single elim bracket. the standard is (or at least used to be in BW double elim tourneys) to have to win two BO3s if you lost a BO3 prior.

People root for their own countries' players during the Olympics, and when those players fall, they root for their own regions' players. That doesn't mean they're prejudiced against people of other races - that's just sports in a nutshell. Saying that rooting for foreigners is racist is equivalent to saying all people are racist. In that case, it's a moot argument. Surely you're aware that you're defining "their own region" as the entire world minus one country, right? I wouldn't bother trying to defend it, it's going to require some hair splitting.

The upside is jet lag can vanish randomly too -- you suddenly just 'wake up' and feel relatively normal.
