Dota 2 is huge in China, I hear they have quite the populace. No but seriously, with China stepping in, Dota 2 is gonna rock the esports world. Go DOTA!! It's pretty surprising how quickly the Asian teams are adapting to Dota 2, from the original. Almost all of the big Chinese teams have switched, and more are in the process of switching. I wish it would've been that easy with SC2. It's because Dota 2 is pretty much exactly the same as the original, minus the hero pool. Mechanics are almost the same, Valve did an awesome job of not only capturing the spirit of the original, but also the gameplay and mechanics. It's really instant love. I used to play a lot of DotA, and then my friends started playing LoL or HoN, but I could never have the same feeling as I had with DotA. When Dota 2 came, it was instantly amazing, fucking perfect. Was just going to say this. Well put sir! based on this lr thread among other things, dota2's and other that type games already have better communities than sc2 aswell.
this is just horrible.

The good old 2 base range colossus timing... Old but golden :D Nice job from Squirtle.

rofl apparently no t players even scout for colli anymore. don't blame em. normally double forge blink. but frankly, i don't think mma will lose to it twice.

Stephano, HuK, NaNiWa. Yes I think if Huk was in this trounament he would have done really well as too. he was in the tourney. he got eliminated really early. In a loser's final in the open bracket isn't all that early. I would suggest that Sase, Thorzain and Illusion are also quite good we have less than ten quality players who are close to being on a level with the Koreans. I hope that eventually there will be good forgien players in the GSL on their own skill and making deep runs a la Jinro and Huk. Eventually we'll have a GSL winner, I hope. its relative. if you dont get out of the open bracket, i consider that early.

Squirtle vs MMA game 1 looks oddly like Squirtle vs MKP game 2...
So, when do these bo5's start?
It says on the Liquipedia page from the semi finals but, what do you even call the semi finals in a double elim bracket as they clearly weren't the winners bracket semis

Lol MMA honestly looks like he really doesn't care in the booth :D

If Squirtle does same build, he'll win again for sure.

This is retardedly good for Nestea.
IDK, I'd certainly agree with Squirtle being the easier opponent but Squirtle really should have won 2-0, his PvZ is very good, although MMA's TvZ is much better.

He won against JYP, Curious, Bomber, all mid-code S. Lol. No wonder people think Stephano is so good. JYP and Bomber both got eliminated early in Code A last season. Curious is bottom code s not mid.
You have no clue what you are talking about. This year in GSL S1, all in code S, JYP lost in group with DRG and Genuis - finalists of that season of code S?! Curious is in Code S for so long. got to RO16 in S1 .... Bomber is not that good in GSL, but he is doing so good in GSTL vs code S players, so he is top level korean too. All these are code S players for sure!

And yet again Squirtle is doing that 3 hidden collosi + thermal lens push - it kinda looks devastating , but I guess MMA should scout more in game 2
