What I am most sad about is that it feels like now all the hype evaporated after this "accident". How do you feel? Let´s hope the crowd and everyone else can still make this good. But we definately lost a bit of the excitement.

Both of these players are amazing, I don't see why anyone would be upset with a regame.

Because Parting had a massive advantage that game.

Nobody gives a shit about who's better overall or past matches.
When two players enter a game they are considered equals even if there's a huge disparity in skill like a NA bronze vs DRG or MKP. It's about what they do in the game that matters and Parting got himself into a hugely favorable situation.

the problem with a regame is that if mkp wins, and then prime wins the match, then the entire match and thus the entire season feels less than legitimate. I still think a regame is the only choice they could have made, but it sucks that blizzard's stupidity and incompetence has resulted in this situation. i am so disappointed.

I still thought MKP had learned his lesson against Whitera. You NEED vikings if you are even with the toss and the toss is good. He keeps underestimating the punch they make, yes you *can* deal with hts and archons without their counter(ghosts) and superb micro, but not colossi(since it's more up to the toss having not good/bad micro).

the HTs were in parting's main, marineking had more mmm popping out, he had a stronger economy and parting lost all his colossus. I think parting had a clear advantage but with marineking's micro it makes it much harder to tell.
