I love MKP since he 1st started emerging on ladder as Boxer. But seriously TL falls for the hype too easily. We should just agree MVP is the only player to be deserving of being THE BEST player in the world (maybe NesTea at a pinch) and everyone else should be described as the hottest/most in form.

Clearly in the best condition in his career, but as always it's too early to call it. Imo the only real 'best' player we ever had so far was MVP pre-wrist injury. He went 3-2 against Genius on the day he was eliminated, and he later beat DRG badly at multiple MLG events.

"He is the hottest player in the world" "He is playing like the best player in the world" "He is the best player in the world" "He is the best player in the world right now" You can twist and bend it until people can accept it but it's still pretty much the same thing unless stated otherwise.

If only his wrists were ok.Nestea is a 2nd one IMO due to him winning a GSL without losing a single game.

If you can't win the gold there then you aren't the best player, end of.

But you could make the same argument for MC, who won HSC 4 and IEM WC, and went further in the GSL than MKP. There is no one player that stands out from all the rest right now. Also, that Blizzcon montage is sick
