I think Prime are the heavy favorites now. In GSL, being the favourite is usually inversely proportional to winning.

Squirle Bomber Parting Curious July virus, among which 5 are code S . As for prime they only have 3 code s players and mkp is far from unbeatable, even Mvp in his prime got knocked to code A by july. And the final is bo11 and i can see prime having trouble finding a good 6th player.

Obviously this move isn't going to get nearly as much discussion since Prime won, but anyone else find it strange that Gerrard sent Creator so early? Creator is the only Protoss threat from Prime and when he was eliminated, it made the Prime race selection extremely predictable with three terrans remaining. Wouldn't it have made more sense to send one of the three terrans and keep the threat of unpredictability?

Boss commented on it during the match. Said that he stood by the decision although he was surprised by it because Choya had been a PvT beast in practice lately

Yea actually I was thinking the same thing as well, but with that said, with Gumiho and asd gone, there really isnt anyone that is a threat to MKP lol. Which makes Choya's decision to send asd that early all the more strange. Sending Creator was actually pretty decent play since if anything failed, they would have someone to clean up shop in MKP/Byun.
PvZ is a relatively toss favoured match up esp if the toss gets to pick the map, that and creator's PvT is imo Creator's worst MU but still actually pretty decent. So that kind of negates the choice of TheBest (who would have chosen him anyway lol), that and they really had no terrans left.
Which is probably why they sent creator since if he had taken out lucky, the only viable option was either a Zerg or a PvP snipe anyway, creator's PvP has been shown to be pretty good defeating HerO recently, which might make him good enough to take out Oz, thus possibly forcing Leenock. Which either sets Leenock up for a snipe or getting taken out.
But,,, obv creator lost in PvZ so all that is moot, but that is probably what they thought of lol. That or, there really wasnt so much thinking and it was "we have our 3 best team league players left, creator/byun/mkp, just choose 1 and go..." lol
