Eh, Gumiho was really unprepared for the broodlords in this match; he didn't start viking production until broods were already morphing. I think it is pretty balanced.

Gumiho just seems so sloppy in comparasion to last season, I don't really see him advancing today unless he plays 3x better.

Sloppy game IMO from both players (mostly gumiho though). Didn't look like code s. Rather a weak code A/top foreigner level.

mechhhhhhh

or kill them in the mid game.

Mech isn't the answer, it just gets steamrolled harder see Leenock vs MVP at MLG Providence. Kill them in the mid game may or may not work, it depends a lot on both how the zerg and the terran handle it.

Nice win from Curious. I wish he didn't have to face Hero again if he wins.

Pure mech doesn't work either. You need unit from whole three production facilities as well as Ghosts/Ravens lol. And unit switch after BL/Infestor kills you most of the time.

But you are right about mid game part

Gumiho was pretty shaky in the ro32 last season, before starting to beast it up if I remember correctly.

Only way for Terran to beat Zerg lategame is to not let the zerg get to the lategame. MMA does this very well as did MKP in MLG

According to idra turtling mech beats it. But I have no idea what he is talking about. Is he talking about thor/viking. Only thors? Viking/ravens ?

Anyway. I think with perfect emp + viking control you have a decent chance in a straight up battle. However the problem is that getting perfect emps off every time is close to impossible, and even if you get those perfect emps off, its not like you just crush the zerg (but at leasts it gives a theoretical solution).

MVP overmade tanks on that game and got caught off guard by the BL transition.

Polt uses thors, vikings and doom drops to beat broodlord infestor.

MMA also kinda won the Blizzard Cup without Ghosts vs that late game Zerg composition.

It is possible. Just very difficult. Requires a lot of multitasking and good splitting of Vikings + lots of them.

Terrans need to make their own lategame deathball of death.
Ghost nerf means that such thing exists: somewhere, David Kim has a smurf account with a 100% winrate.

Because he hadnt any confidence, but after such a run, why he lacks it.
It doesn't make sense, probably he is not practicing enough.
