Xeris schedule and final prize is already up. We have not yet secured a final prize for second and third place.

Seems kinda incomplete though.. i.e. who are the opponents, etc etc , are we going to get that info?

Accidentally put in the wrong dates. 31st and 1st entered. The seeds will be randomized so the opponents are not set.

Thoughts on 4v4 team monobattles, best of 21 for the finals? No all kill rule, so if you win 10 in a row, you have to produce a new team for the next match ;-).

Just for the record, I think that rule is really dumb, because of the potential weirdness (that actually happened today). I understand the thought, you don't want a team with 1 really good guy to be able to beat a team all by himself. In that case, don't even have the KOTH format, just make it 4 1v1 + ace match or something. Having KOTH format adds that excitement value, but also gives a lot more weight to a team who has 1-2 really strong players.
This workaround just made no sense and was really confusing. The scenario where you go 4-0 and then 0-4 means that a team needs to have a 6th player, which is just weird. "Bo9 format except for one weird case when a team gets to use more than the maximum # of players."
I like the attempt at creativity and toying with format, but it really didn't work, that 1 scenario (despite how unlikely it is, altho it happened today) kills it. Just my personal opinion ~~

its just an opinion, not saying anything bad about the tournament, just one part of the rules should be thought out a bit more

It was a little weird, but we all survived in the end.
More on topic though, we've got Clash and Infused starting in 30 minutes on http://www.twitch.tv/csntv, and the finals between GoSu and LighT are set to start at 4 PM EST (3.5 hours from now).

I take full responsibility for the 'twist' included in the All Kill format. I did not do my math properly. However, I still think its a much needed twist and we will continue to use it, but only in bo7 cases where the max number of players required is 5. The all Kill format is a novel idea for a 'team' event.. but technically it is not about 'teams'. My idea of course was to make it so that teams were forced to use at least 2 of their 5 person roster to win a match. Obviously, the All Kill format, even with this twist is not a true team event.. but I figured it would be one step closer.
BTW.. wanted to chat with you about an idea I had. I was told you were the person to talk with. Ill hit you up on skype later!
