Why wouldn't anyone, not even commentators, root for ReaL to pull through? He lives in EU and is on a foreign team which makes him a representative for the foreign scene. The same also applies to SeleCT who has been a staple of the foreign scene for years now, despite his brief stint in Korea. I wonder if at this point people even care? Perhaps I'm wrong.. maybe it's ok to be racist in this context, but I'm definitely going to recognize and call it for what it is. I wonder if the casters are comfortable acknowledging it? | ||

Too bad DRG is not here. Although I agree that Mc and Feast have a chance of taking down MMA. It just looks way too easy for MMA to make it to the final. Kind of wish some more Korean terrans are here, such as Polt and Alive. The only one may stop MMA to get to the final is Supernova right now. And if MMA move on to face JYP or Elfi, it is going to make MMA look like a tvp bonja perhaps. | ||

I certainly hope that no one is rooting against Koreans because they hate Asians. I usually root against players if they are up against players that I like, or if they are doing nothing but cheesy builds and all-ins. But that would trouble me greatly if people root against Koreans out of prejudice. I think people generally root for players that they can relate with (such as players that play the same race, come from the same country, speak English). I do know some friends who became Violet and Polt fans because they speak English. As for Real, I don't really know too much about him, but what little play that I have seen from him struck me as a bit gimmicky. Maybe a lot of other people got the same vibes? | ||
