I can't play it, a lot has come up, and about the major(juan) reference or whatever in response to quoting my post it was already stated I asked him to play on the ID while I couldn't play sc2(laptop/other problems, and gm was still open while the problems prohibiting me to be able to play myself came up), he played a few games, attempted to steal money, and didn't live up to his end of the deal of stuff. He never got me into GM, and hardly did anything for me.
Anyhow I'll talk to spades soon about when we can play this, I just have a lot more stuff going on right now.

Sunday March 11th 6pm Nick "lastshadow" De Cesare will face off against Brian "Spades" Francis in an epic bo15 RvR show match for $300.
Why? Spades has questioned lastshadows ability to "dominate the NA scene" with random. In typical ls fashion Nick is quite quick to escalate things which brings us here, an all out bo15 random vs random showmatch, winner takes all. The starting map will be chosen by Ipp who will be casting the event. lastshadow is currently still in korea practicing quite hard but has been going under the radar for the most part. Spades has spent time in korea as well but is back in the states now and has been a mainstay in the North American scene.
When: Sunday March 11th 6PM EST

I have to give the edge to Lastshadow considering he can play both Terran & Zerg. With that in mind I dont know how good Spades offraces are but I would have to assume Lastshadow still has better zerg than Spades.

Idk if LS has played much protoss but I know he's done a ton of both Zerg and Terran, so that should favour him quite a bit. And I feel like he's been in Korea for a pretty long time.

but yeah, I think LS definitely has an edge because hes played 2 races competitively. But should be interesting none the less. This isnt like a grudge match or anything, we are good friends just wanting some fun games with a bit of an incentive. Smart money is on him, but ill see what i can do.

Very fun. This will be my first opportunity to watch a RvR showmatch - with some good players too. Been following LS a lot lately. I definitely think LS will take this though. I like spades, but LS is realllyyyyy good with two of out of three races (maybe even all three hah).

I don't even know much about spades, LS has this ezpz, at the end of the day spades isn't even a top player from na, while LS is playing on KR. Only way I could see Spades taking this is if he gets T all the time and LS gets a lot of protoss.

Instead of a RvR bo15, it should be a bo9 in which all the matchups occur!
edit: if you want a bo15, then make a bo5 in their regular race and a bo8 where you cycle through all possible matchups.

The point of this is to have fun, and me/spades used to RvR BoX alot in bw, so it's a bit nostalgic on my part as well. The RvR and 'who gets T' element adds to the fun also.

My computer is trying to be fixed, I'm also trying to get all my paypal money out to try to buy a computer if need be, but I have a lot more stuff going on as well, and thus not fully enough for a computer, sadly this showmatch might have to be PP'd.

my laptops fixed, but I still want to replace it's gfx card that is faulty before I play, as anything with Zerg is absolutely unbearable normally, and I don't want anything regarding a ZvX or XvZ matchup to cause unneeded lag or fps drops that could affect the showmatch.
So if it's ok with spades I'd like to delay it 1week.

Look, I don't think LS can dominate the NA scene currently, but he is no doubt far superior to Spades. LS has way more experience in both Zerg as well as Terran than Spades has even in Terran, in terms of practice accumulated and games played. When it comes to RvR the odds are just going to be in LS's favor.

? Do you know how often this happens amongst Koreans? I couldn't play, GM was still open, Juan was my good friend, we made a deal, he didn't live up to it(and with how he reacted after I completed my end lead to my next step), I cut him off from my friends, and then the blowup happened. It's not disturbing, it happens a lot between Koreans, I literally couldn't play and asked a favor, and he asked one too, hence the deal. I had proven in previous seasons it's not imossible for me to do on my own lol, I just couldn't play.

he played BW but wasn't anyone notable. he was 4th at 1st MLG and i think he stoped playing for some time. then he came back and went to Korea to train.
