GuMiho vs Genius could actually be interesting, with GuMiho attempting to pull off crazy tactics (banshee-tank on Metropolis?) and trying to do multi-prong attacks while Genius attempts to defend it, but with better defense than most Protoss (patrolling Zealots etc.). What I'm wondering now is, is GuMiho better than MMA? He's good but MMA is still the best terran in the world. Maybe someday! Gumiho is still light years away from MMA's level. People don't know how to think with their brains and not hype. Use your eyes + brain on the games you've seen. Gumiho has played way better in all series this season than MMA. Don't Worry, just a lucky gsl run like jjakji, his career will be done after this gsl. Agreed...its not like he was a pretty good player beforehand, and has overcome his nerves this season. Clearly pure luck he's here I think if I play enough times I might be able to luck my way to 4-1 vs MVP too

Would you rather watch the most important series of the season between 2 players with some history (in this case, teammates, rivals, etc.) compared to a series between 2 'random' players that have been rather mediocre in the past seasons (playing pretty well this season, mind you)? I would choose DRG vs Genius 100000/100000 over Genius vs Gumiho, or any other player for that matter
So you unable to judge things objectively? And this is a commendable quality?

Somebody has to tweet this to them, I know they would never do it, but it would be hilarious. Seoul to NY is like, what, a 15 hour flight? They'd have the best random conversations I bet, I still crack up when I remember them chatting with Day9 at Blizzcon when they didn't realize the mic was on during break.

Thx giving a good example of what I was pointing out earlier. People don't give a shit who actually plays best, they're just into storytelling. Sad. Go GuMiHo!

I'm sad to say it, but it is now glaringly obvious tasteless knows nothing about sc2... Gumiho didn't make a huge comeback last game, he had same number of base than the zerg + same supply after attack and tech advantage...

Disagree 100% because I don't think DRG is better after watching these games. I want to watch better players. If GUMIHO won by cheesing then I could possibly understand your point.

Actually, the ones with Idra/Huk and everyone in it always peak, that's just foreigner bias. Try the last few Code A LR's

Do you have eyes, and maybe a brain behind those eyes? Did you watch Gumiho's last series vs Puzzle, or the games tonight? Gumiho is anything but a boring Terran. lol calm down, he can find whoever he wants boring he's just mad because he wanted the teamkill finals. Some people are more interested by the storyline than the actual game play, so GuMiho may actually deliver one of the best games of this GSL, some people will say he's "boring" because he wasn't the one doing team-BM in Ro32. Or people want a PvZ finals that isn't terrible. Iam really tired of terrans in the finals aswell.
Gotta agree with him, after the last 4 GSL's having a terran in the finals i would like to see something different

Well, this game, DRG at least started 3rd earlier than Gumiho

That's why people think DRG-MMA was better than Jajkji vs Leenock While it was actually not better.

It's failed as in it should have killed Zerg. If you watch the KR pro's streams a 2-rax on that map in TvZ pretty much always finishes the game immediately. That's why DRG was taking it so seriously. If he had wanted to kill the zerg he would go 11-11 or 11-12. He did an economical 12-14 into 3 CC. I'd hardly call that a fail.
The point was that going 2-rax on that map is easy. You want to give points to a terran who just barely did a passable 2 rax? It's the way that map works. And a 12-14 2 rax can kill a zerg on that map, but Gumiho was too aggressive with his bunker positioning. The first one usually sits in the crevice to protect the first marines that are rallied. Zerg can do nothing because they have nothing but melee units.
The fact that he did the 2 rax and didn't have a huge lead after is pretty bad.

I create WAY too many threads and TL only gives me a recent 50 cap

Re casters and APM, a BW player with 400 APM in BW won't have 400 APM in SC2 if he switches. It takes less clicks to do menial things like make units, and you can't entirely replace that with extra micro/whatever.

Who knew what LR thread ment? its " live report thread".
Stop giving your uninteresting and unadvised opinion.

Yeah it was. I like his mech playing in TvZ, and he gets ravens with it. SO badass!
