With cloak Thorzain would have won the engagement I think, but yeah, that was a miscontrol by him. HerO caught him offguard so he couldn't really retreat. Shit happens, can happen to Protoss, this time it happened to Terran. On a very big map and that engagement happening at the Protoss half + a planetary at an expansion you might come back, but on Shattered and with losing 15 ghosts... no.

Yep. Thorzain caught off guard with his ghost positioning.


He wasnt caught off guard with immidiate position, he pulled the ghosts out of his army as the engage started with a seperate hotkey and they all just got focus fired down

Drops won't do much in the late game anyway, which is what his build was structured around, because HerO was constantly playing with a split army and lots of cannons. He even used warp prism to ferry ht/units to give him more mobility which he would have used to deny drops.

I dunno tvp is a weird match up.

Those EMPS were from the very few ghost who survived.. when I say before the main engagement i mean like 1-2 seconds before it. Collosi melted them then pushed in.

Cross positions on shakuras is slightly closer by ground (because of the middle high ground platforms) so you should probably scout there first, i dont think many people know that though

Far from it, there is no build order win vs nexus first on bigger maps such as Shakuras. If it is held the game will be even or hero will be ahead most likely

I think Thorzain is ahead now, combat shields first is very tricky, hero probably expected conc shells
