GOM thinks koreans understand baseball. The only time I've ever heard of "pennant race" in USA is baseball. Basically the team that finishes first in its division wins a "pennant" and moves on to the playoffs. If someone wants to correct me go for it.

Baseball is pretty huge in Korea actually, the #1 sport in terms of popularity.
But anyway, we just generally like to make up weird names for things. Code A, Code S? Jupiter and Venus League? Pennant Race?!
