With that said, all the best to FXO with the followup. Buy Wolf a better mic and I'll surely tune-in whenever possible. =P
I'm curious as to how you feel the production value can be upped. Only thing that can really think of to be done is going from 720p to 1080p (which is doable, just has cost), we had high definition overlays, intros and win animations. Wolf has just purchased a new mic today too !
I might have explained myself poorly there. I think that 720p with a decent bitrate is absolutely fine, about the golden standard as far as free streams go. The overlays and intros/transitions were also very good, with the exception of the in-game FXOpen logo on the right side of the screen: Blizzard's UI is a cacophony of clutter which wastes a lot of screen estate and little can be done about it, which is why I think it would be better to "cram" all the sponsors in some space that would be wasted anyway (the Razer logo covering the bottom right menu if fine, for example). Alas, without tournament support from the devs, it is the organizer who needs to minimize damage.
What I think could be improved upon are audio quality and the pre/post-game stage, so to say. Both casters should go through very similar mics and processing; well, I suppose that you could achieve the same result without identical equipment, but my point is that when the casters sound very differently, the effect can be quite unpleasant. On the other subject, it would be nice to have a brief intro/hype to the most important games, and a short analysis after each set. The fact that the commercial break happens almost immediately after the gg and the next game is started with little to no introduction makes the thing feel a bit rushed, at least to me. You might want to check other online events out: I think that IPL and the MLG qualifiers got this part of their broadcasts right.
I hope I was a bit clearer now. And against, best of luck for your future events. ^^

MMA and MVP would like to have a word.XD Terran winrate percentage against Zerg have always been favoring Terran since the beginnings of the GSL.-.- Terran dun struggle in TvZ especially Korean Terrans.DRG is on beast mode.
Mvp is no longer a top TvZ anymore... He badly lost to Leenock two times, struggled a lot against Lucky and even lost versus NesTea (they are teammates and the games were weird but still...), maybe he will recover his form but it's a bad example. MMA is almost the only one who consistently does good against zerg in the GSL, but he still struggled in the foreign tournaments (MLG vs Leenock and IPL vs Lucky for example), but when you look at a lot of terrans performance, they don't do that well against zergs

The production values is quite good IMO and the only thing holding back this tournament is the advertising, it doesn't seem to be reconigzed by the more casual portion of spectators.
Great series between DRG and puzzle. Watching the rebroadcast. I wonder if the final game was winnable for puzzle beyond a certain point. Perhaps if he had left his void ray to threaten the spawningpool/extractor and gone for the third earlier he could have eliminated? I suppose It would still depend on whether DRG realized it and left his queens there.
drg so good. would be really shocked if he doesnt even win at least one gsl this year hard to take four games off of him in a seven game series (except if you are mma)

Your points do make sense and I agree to an extent. The FXOpen logo is something that cant be removed due to the nature of replay casting and every event really just needs to make the best of a bad situation. In regards to everything else, I will say I agree completely however it was simply unavoidable due to the low staffing and budget of the event. FXOBoSs will be doing a complete write up in more detail tomorrow after we get the final statistics from twitch etc.
I just want to state my opinion that I would have watched, but Wolf casted. I do not believe Wolf to be of any value as a caster and previously decided to refuse to watch something with him casting. It is my opinion, and maybe others, that the game entertainment would go a lot better with a different caster. Please make this change. Thank you.

This is silly. MVP not a top tvz player because of his performance agaisnt 3 strong opponents, 1 of which he beat? His losses against leenock were close, at least his gsl semifinals series, and leenock has arguably the best or second best zvt in the world. Against lucky and nestea he looked very strong even if they were hard fought series. And besides, if MMA is the only player who does better in tvz, then its not like 2nd best tvz in the world is "not a top tvz anymore."
MKP such a boss beasting through the lower bracket, but DRG is the best player in the world right now, so what can you do. DRG is in form and unbeatable right now. Hope we get a DRG/MC GSL finals with DRG finally winning his first GSL, cause he sure deserves it!

I think MMA vs DRG would be more interesting, those guys are probably #1 and #2 in the world right now, and easily the best of their respective match-ups.
DRG's early game is just sooooo solid I'm in shock. His extra early queens in ZvT are just incredibly helpful in holding back pushes and transfusing, then spreading a bunch of creep tumors. I'm definitely gonna have to start adopting his style.
