Because EG can't really "fire" him (I'm not saying that they want to fire him), he's too much the face of the team. I wonder if Idra knows that and abuse it, and that's why he does the strict minimum to justify his salary. Last year, Idra was still a good candidate to represent a product in an ad for instance, now, which company would want him to promote his products ? "Hi, I'm Idra. With the Kingston HyperZ Ram, I can gg 17% faster". | ||

I feel EG should look at this as an opportunity to stop buying members and train the ones they have (bar IdrA, who's one of the worse players atm) addtional lol: Idra always calls euro players trash, I guess he got a little trashed tonight (YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH) | ||

The guy went from being 'the only hope' of non-Korean zergs to 'the greatest marketing vehicle' in the SC scene. And the people who pay EG to use their gear wont care about his performance as long as the performance is relatively solid. And about EG, even though i dislike the whole team, i think that these few bad performances doesnt make them all that bad. Every player has his slumps, teams are the same. Performing bad at NASTL doesnt suddenly make them bad, also wininng one league or tournament doesnt suddenly make them number one. People make too much of a deal from a realtive low number of games. All in all EG is very solid and stacked team, not the best and not the worst as always. Whats important to note, is that EG doesnt have team spirit as mouz or empire. I mean can You imagine Thorzain or Kas refusing to help his team because of latency? I cant. And its obvious that EG was on the ropes (0-3) before this match and needed any help they could get. Did arguably one their best players help them? Nope. They either lack the team spirit, or dont care that match about NASTL. PS. I am assuming its true what people say all over these team leagues threads--->that Huk doesnt play in them because he doesnt want too, i dont know if its a fact, but it sounds plausible. | ||
