Remember that's only the Englisch stream. Carmac said there are 4 different streams for the event.

I played Zerg until a high masters level. It's really not that difficult to macro on 1 and 2 base. :/
Don't get me wrong, Ret is a macro beast. I agree with this sentiment entirely. But on 1 base it's not difficult. Where's when he's on 4,5,6 bases it is.

Hmm, I'd say game 2 was even at best (for Violet). Then again in Game 1 Ret outmicroed Violet hard and Violet still won. Building up small advantages matters a lot in ZvZ, but you still can lose just by timing one decision wrong.

Pretty sure ling/bling micro isn't this intense at Masters level. Anyways, as far as I've seen having perfect injects is really rare in pro level ZvZ for that exact reason.
(just like what we've seen right now )

The english stream has to be the most popular so still not to good.
If the EG team stream all at once they make more from ads than IEM.

Outplaying is deflecting or feigning aggression while getting ahead in Drones. Ret played Game 2 as perfectly as he did Game 1, except he deflected the timing push while being way ahead in drones. The onus is on Violet to make something happen with the units, since he was always behind in drones. I'd say Ret played far superior to Violet game 2.
Ya once again I was just joking around. Violet made a great decision and outplayed Ret in game 1, yet everyone jumped to Ret's defense saying that he outplayed Violet while losing... so I figured I would do the same in the opposite position, but then unsurprisingly everyone keeps defending Ret.

The whole "can i hide banelings and run them into a mineral line unnoticed" part of ZvZ is something I hope players get good enough to just shut down in the future.
