That's a huge boost...Stephano is not better than Nestea. You have no reason to believe that.

No reason? Stephano has been beasting it up hardcore lately, and Nestea not so much... Problem is Stephano doesn't compete with koreans often so it s hard to know precisely at what level he is compared to them. I look forward to the Iron Squid to see that. If he wins Iron Squid, it will be one more proof that he is one of the best (if not the best) zerg players in the world

The GSL is the only thing which counts, he can win as many foreign tournaments as he wants. Also, he didn't beat any good koreans at IPl for example

LOL? He beat MMA in the finals of the qualifier... Also, he reached top 20 on korean GM so easily... It's really a shame that he doesn't want to compete in GSL (hard to blame him, though) because I'm quite confident he would perform very well

There's no way to know that he is the best if he doesn't compete with the best.

I never like 4gating against terran.
hard to "normalize" after u fail the attack.
what Oz did ( proxy a second gate ) and try to poke a bit to see if its a 1barrack expand, if it is, u can try to punish the terran, if not, fall back and tech/expand.

No, he only played Blizzcup.

I guess he turned down Code S aswell, would be stupid to invite Sen over Stephano.

Doing well as a foreigner doesn't put you on the same level as a 3 time GSL Champion.

You still have no reason to believe he's better than Nestea.

Nestea was good, and was without any doubt the best Z in the world, but it was a very long time ago. Since this he just lose to random 2nd-class Korean player. That's all. And Stephano really good atm.

No, he did not. He beat him in the ONLINE qualifiers 2:1. In the finals he beat theSTC (Code A), Lucky (Code A), inori/violet (both code b) and Boxer (Code A). A lot of people do beat Code a korean sin foreign tournaments. In the GSl however its completely different. Please get your facts straight next time.

Nah I just think that any foreigner needs to play a bo3 vs a korean in korea before we can say that he would do well in the GSL.

Not really?

Sen before he began playing in the Taiwanese league was arguably the best foreign zerg.

The Taiwanese league isn't helping him though since he just rolls that whole league basically.

lol this sounds so familiar, fanboys say that for pretty much every hyped foreigners; but how many are left in the GSL now after 1-2 years of the game?

Guys! Let's come back to the game! We all know Stephano is the greatest player in the wold ! ;>
