Seal's macro just too, too good for Squirtle even with the Startale Protoss' nice use of forcefields. Seal looks too strong and up 50+ supply. | ||

17:00... Seal manages to surprise Squirtle and takes out a bunch of probes as well as SQuirtle's wall at third. Didn't take down the third though. Squirtle loses Warp PRism. | ||

The game density seems pretty similar to previous seasons - maybe a little less now that each season stretches over two months and two streams run at the same time, rather than the crazy marathons we used to get when they'd play multiple Code A groups per night/day. The whole "don't complain it's free" attitude is so retarded. GOM benefits by people watching their games - viewer numbers attract more sponsors, more attention for the players and teams > more money in eSports > scene grows. Trying to monetize and grow the company by offering HQ and VODs as a subscription is fine because no one is really losing content; I liken this to gaming companies which release week one (paid) DLC. It just feels dirty. In this case it also kinda sucks for the players. I personally would love to see more of Seal and other similar up'n'comers, but to do that I'd have to pay. Fuck that. I don't have the bandwidth to watch HQ and I have the time/timezone to watch live - there is no way watching (potentially) 4 more games per Code A group is worth a premium ticket when other games are going concurrently. | ||
