Right. There's a reason why we don't start at the Ro8, after all.

Yes Gumiho played very well, you have to to beat a player like MVP even on a bad day, but MVP played like fucking shit and I think it's undeniable. Artosis made the comment about not moving around a non-max mech army and that only scrapes the surface of the poor mistakes and decisions MVP made. Uggh really wasn't expecting to see 10x better play than MVP out of Alive today.

I still dislike his vs Protoss and vs the fantastic Supernova plus Puzzle/Oz (who are super streaky but could easilly have one of their good days) he's not even a lock to get out of his group. MC and Parting could also beat MMA as could DRG. MMA is definitely the favourite but this isn't anything like a guarantee. Absolutely. This is very up in the air. Honesty even Genius could take the win this GSL. We'll see how the brackets look in the RO8 but until then it's TOTALLY anyone's cup.

DRG isn't a GSL champion Well it's just a list of names and I didn't write it... and DRG may not be a GSL champion but did win the "King's of Kong". Then again, MKP won an AoL too...

He should get back in to Code S next season without any major problems. MVP should have topped his group with any major problems. If MVP plays the same way as he did today he is going to be Code A next season. Dude, Sen and Sniper are MVP fodder even if MVP happens to be slumping. We'll see I'm a Sen fan myself so I'm a bit biased there ![]() Curious is Code A Champion so "even Curious" is not a good measurement for Sen or Sniper, i guess ![]()

His body of work over the course of 2011 was vastly superior to that of anyone else. He put together wins in GSL/WCG/Blizzcon as well as deep runs into GSL November/MLG Providence during the last parts of the year. How on earth does that scream anything but "I'm better than everyone", let alone "lol" at the suggestion of him being the best player?

For pretty much the whole of last year, MVP was undeniably the best player in the world for a consistent period. He lost in one group. Big fucking deal. Nobody else bar MMA (who is really looking dodgy with the Return of Protoss to GSL) is even in the running for the title. Until he loses for more than 1 month and somebody else can take up his mantle, I don't care what Waxy says: MVP still No.1
