If Idra would have one I might have to agree with you, but unfortunatlry it is not opposite day

They have four players on their team that can even hold their own in these kinds of leagues. Then they have to send out players who have no chance like machine. Not exactly a deep roster.

No need to apologise, not your fault people take an interesting discussion and feel the need to post biased crap on it.

It was a good discussion. But yes there was a lot of BS thrown in there -.-

at the beginning with the bunker rush STC should have put the bunker behind the 2 gates, not in front like that. Then he would have won right there.

tlpd records isnt everything. FXOz %41 against Terran but i can say his PvT is top 3 in Korea.

also you should look latest tournaments MC played,he always out of tournament because of PvP.

Even if you disregard the fact MC has an insane winrate, Inori is still immensely overrated in PvP. He beat MC once, every other time MC owned him. And his stats are fucking awful.

Inori has beaten HerO, HuK, Sase, and Puzzle multiple times. He seriously only sucks in GSL for some unknown reason, but roflstomps all other Protosses in foreign tournaments. It helps that he's got that insane 3gate pressure build that gets more units than a regular 4gate...

Umm no. According to TLPD he beat them once. And he beat hero and puzzle in a best of one.

I'm sorry I didn't know TLPD was the end-all be all for databases. I watched HerO and HuK both lose to him in MLG and on IPL very convincingly. If you go just by TLPD...DRG's ZvT is his worst matchup, did you know that?

Link me to something that says Inori even played huk or hero at MLG.

http://reignsc2.com/2011/12/reign-vs-team-liquid-–-insight-into-ipl-team-arena-challenge/inori-v-hero/

I said MLG. please read what I actually say. Thanks.

Oops..you get the gist. Inori PvP > HuK and HerO PvP.

Since when are HuK and HerO considered the top PvPers who we are going to compare another player to in order to determine "the best." Inori has a weird style of PvP. MC, Oz, and Puzzle all have much better PvP than anybody else. InCa is gimmicky, Inori has a weird almost unexplored style (when he first came out at IPL I don't think that MC has much experience playing against it), HerO and HuK actually aren't as good as other players, and frankly the only people left are players like Oz, Puzzle, JYP, MC, and the like. PartinG is also really, good as I see a lot of people are completely failing to mention him.

PvP is MC's worst match up...

Oz,InCa and Inori definitely better than MC at PvP.

How is inori better at PvP than MC? He is 2-8 in PvP and lost to MC like 3 times. MC also has basically the same win % as Inca but has more games than Inca and beat him. Inori is so overrated at that matchup it's not even funny.

tlpd records isnt everything. FXOz %41 against Terran but i can say his PvT is top 3 in Korea.

Just saying,STATS ISNT EVERYTHING.

HuK have 45% PvP in Korea but he is 5-4 ahead against MC.

MC's PvP isnt in top 3,even Puzzle better than him.

How? You have no actual argument for that. Puzzle just lost to parting, he hasn't ever beaten MC, he has worse winrates, how is he better than MC?

I'm sorry I didn't know TLPD was the end-all be all for databases. I watched HerO and HuK both lose to him(Inori) in MLG and on IPL very convincingly. If you go just by TLPD...DRG's ZvT is his worst matchup, did you know that?

TLPD ISNT EVERYTHING.

PROVIDE AN ARGUMENT.

i just saw your posts in MC's fan club..

i understand you,you are a fanboy.

its hard to accept but MC sucks at PvP.

That's a terrible argument. MC is a force to be reckoned with. Who has he lost to in PvP? He lost to HuK, but they both know each other's styles so well that that doesn't really represent much of their "skill." If you're just going to troll, get off TL and stop posting retarded comments like "MC sucks at PvP."

man the production and format of IPL is so much better than NASL. I do like that there are multiple team leagues though so I cant really complain too much about either.

Fin should utterly manhandle JYP.

Can't believe stc followed up the two rax with an all in, he'd have been ahead if he'd just cut reactored marines enough to throw down a CC

It's a deep roster when they don't have to play win against 5 Koreans, some Code-S level. Certainly out of every non-Korean team EG is the most skilled on paper.

I don't even think there is a best PvP player anymore, back in the days of 4gate MC had the mastery of that build with his control, and Inca's mindgames made him fearsome. Since then it seems, to me at least you guys may not agree that what has happened is that there's a load of guys with roughly similar levels who can take games off each other. Most PvPs I've seen recently have been tight 2-1 games with a lot of contrasting builds used. It's still a matchup that can reward one inspired, ballsy decision which is why I feel MC will always be one of the better PvPers in live environments.

There may yet emerge one, supreme PvP boss again, should be interesting to see when the matchup settles down a bit more.

If you think about cheering for oGs without MC...

...don't.

I agree, the production value in this league is off the charts. Excellent night of viewing!

Good job IPL.

So EG is basically a Korean team now?

They have four players on their team that can even hold their own in these kinds of leagues. Then they have to send out players who have no chance like machine. Not exactly a deep roster.

They have Huk, IdrA, Demuslim (I truly think he belongs with those two) - then the koreans JYP and PuMa.
I don't think EG is turning into a korean team and I'd say having 5 solid players make their roster fairly deep. You rarely have a need for more than 5.
