At one point he had 3k in the bank while waisting most of his storm and had only one collosus without thermal lance and still a very low gateway count. He was close to throwing the game away at this point because of really poor macro. Yes that's what it was.

I'm very pleased to see the Protoss player spreading, poking with units and being opportunistic with storm. This kind of stuff is what made BW so exciting, and it indicates that the players are developing a better game understanding enough to take more risks. I'm excited to see how things continue to progress.
I am disappointed that maxed armies look so small though. For some reason it seemed even more condensed than usual in that game.

So I will be extremely sad if he doesn't win this match. Am I doing it right?

I'm pretty confident Zenio could beat any ffe protoss in the world with his 2 base hydra build in pvz on bel-shir at least.

You listen to moletrap too much. He was never wasting storms he had a bunch of HTs sitting at his nat building energy ready for a real engagement..

3k in the bank is not a problem, because it's pointless to add 6-7 zealots to your army compared to 1-2 more collosus or storm. He added more Gateways in the end, when he had exhausted his gas supply and had a good enough army to trade well. Missing one upgrade isn't bad macro at all, it's just forgetting (or even not having enough gas).
He was no-where near throwing the game at all. Everything he did built a small advantage for the eventual engagement, and would've still won the game even if he lost the huge engagement, because he could just re-max on pure zealot/templar.

The armies look smaller because the camera in SC2 is actually put farther from the ground in comparison to BW. Have you never realized how the buildings look much smaller in SC2?

I don't agree. Extra zealots in his main army at that point wouldn't have done anything to improve his chances of winning the game. Maxing out on zealots only would have prevented him from warping in if he needed to defend drops.

NaDa doesn't think that's very funny.
