Pretty sure no golds in the middle of the map. Most tournaments seem to be going that way.

And unsurprisingly, naniwa showing the exact opposite like the immature child he is. So self-centered with 0 respect to his team, fans, and 'fellow' pro gamers and letting them all down... Wrong. Pro should not be silent if playing conditions are not optimal. Sure they should. It's called be professional and providing the entertainment that the fans want and sponsors expect. To what degree? What if a tournament forced them to play one race, without a chair, on the KR server on Steppes of War while lagging. The pros shouldn't say anything because they're doing what the fans and sponsors want right? Fuck no, SC2 is about the players more than anyone else. Lag is not the end of the world. It's more like playing football in the rain. And it's not about the players more than anyone else. It's a symbiotic relationship between players, fans, casters and sponsors. Without all of them none of this is possible. Without players, there is no scene Without sponsors, there is still a scene, it's not funded Without casters, there is still a scene, it's not casted Without fans, there is still a scene, it's not popular Without the players, you can have nothing else. But without Naniwa (or any player x) there are still other players to take his place. You missed the point.

Winner won the group, but it meant they would play Sen in the next round. Neither wanted that so they played a stupid bo3 with silly strategies. In the end Stephano won the game and beat Sen though.

I believe they were, allegedly, trying to lose on purpose to avoid a strong player in bracket, not 100% sure though

I think more players should refuse to play if the standard doesn't improve. I don't think anyone would have been raising pitchforks if players had refused to play in PPSL.

I wish Blizzard would care just a little bit about SC2 as an e-sport and if not LAN at least implement a tournament version.

Both players tried their best to lose the game, because the winner of it would have to face Sen. The games were something like proxy-hatch vs 1-Base-BC.

You cannot be serious, the fans are the most important. There will always be players but it's starcraft's popularity makes it so great, big tournaments with big prize money provided by sponsers because of the fans.
If its all about the players why don't you go and watch some pro Company of Heroes.

This is just Ladder map, but with depots at bottom of ramp? Weird. Why not cross only and no gold, poor choice.
