idra fanboys probably wont like hearing this, but he played that series like a gold league noob. blindly going ling/muta with far too few banes every single game.

mutas and lings are 2 of the most fragile units zerg has at their disposal. they simply need roach/infestor/bane support.

that was a garbage series imo. -_-

It seems like a lot of people don't realize how good Taeja actually is. Go to TLPD and sort by ELO peak: 6th. Taeja has the 6th highest SC2 ELO of all time so far. You can count the players higher than him on one hand. Go to the detailed breakdown and check vZ peaks: 4th. Third best TvZ, behind MMA and MVP.

Idra had so little of a chance going into this, and most of you don't seem to get that. Whether Idra played his best or not, he was going to get a beat down.

This just reinforces the point that IdrA would have been fucked in his GSL group anyway, even though some people claimed, "he could have beaten MVP" - you don't stand a chance against MVP with that level of play.

I hope he gets it together for Code A, at the moment I'm quite worried that he won't even make it through the first round.

he does the same compostition every fucking game.

i saw a ladder game of him vs Bomber where bomber just flooded him with marines and idra was dead even before the medivacs arrived because he was desperately trying to get mutas out. seriously? mutas?...

i think he once read in TL strat forums that ling/bling/muta is good against terran and kept doing it..
