Sase vs Morrow from yesterday.

Tyler was scared of Rotterdam, he knew he couldnt beat him to qualify ..

Let's see, so we have Illusion vs Stephano, and Catz vs Kas.
My predictions for tomorrow: Illusion is good at TvZ, having defeated Lucky in IPL TAC, Ret at the IEM qualifiers, and Sheth at MLG Providence. Still I would give Stephano the advantage simply because of Stephano's additional experience and accomplishments. 3-2 Stephano.
Kas should beat Catz 3-0. Catz play is very fun to watch, and can surprise many players, but I feel that Kas' macro and mechanics are just too strong.
I think that Stephano should be able to defeat Kas, but I think Kas can certainly take several games off Stephano. After watching Stephano 4-0 Thorzain at SCI 4, I think Stephano is the favorite. 4-3 or 4-2 are my predictions.
Illusion takes 3rd if there is a third place match played.

Nice break out moment for VileIllusion and CatZ. Hope they can beats the long odds tomorrow.

First Destiny killing Hasuobs and Mana in IPL TAC, and now Catz making to the semis. I'd say they both shattered expectations greatly this week.

What about Stephano ? Everyone said he has a gimmicky style that wont last long, and hes still beating koreans and winning big cash tournaments online.

You guys hyping Kas over Stephano might want to consider that he's not won a BoX vs Stephano since August last year. And hasn't even taken a map since then. (According to TLPD)

Stephano 3-0 vs illusion and 4-0/1 vs Kas

Illusion vs Catz finals.
SUP SON !
Stephano will not 3-0 illusion.
Illusion will win 3-2.

The reddit post introducing the tournament mentioned the pool replays would be released "immediately after MrBitter's Saturday broadcast". Any news on those replays? Apologies if I missed them but I didn't notice them in the original post here. Looking forward to the rest of the tournament!

Looks like the streamer lady fell asleep after the broadcast. ONOG will probably post the replays tomorrow morning.

I dunno about destiny shattering expectations. He is pretty good in p v z, especially against players who are not familiar with the mass muta build. But so far has he won a series yet vs a pro, in a tournament?

If he didn't slept all night, I can see why SaSe lost to Catz. But if SaSe got a few hours of sleep and woke up at 8:00am, he shouldn't be very tired.
Kas also played at 5:00am ... I wonder how did the organizers came up with these terrible hours?
That is 8:00pm in US (pst). I'm pretty sure the US players could have played this earlier and it would have been better for everyone.

my sleep schedule isn't completely good either, i woke up with 5 hours of sleep to play SaSe, just, to play sase, and as you can see, im not sleeping yet at almost 9am EST, I prob won't be able to sleep for another hour or two and I gotta play Kas in 7 hours, I don't by any means think that im better than SaSe, I think he's a fantastic and super solid player. I was lucky enough to match against him 3 times on the korean ladder, and I went 2-1 but I also felt they were incredibly lucky wins by me (and btw if that matters at all, that was me with the lag and him on his schedule)
fact: SaSe is overall a better player and a more well rounded played than I am fact: SaSe is probably next to Naniwa, one of the 2 best protoss outside of korea (and even in korea) fact: SaSe has better results so far than I can even hope and atempt and do my best about archieving this year fact: I -can- beat SaSe, and I am lucky enough to be 5-2 vs him overall, and if i had to rate myself and weight myself against sase, I think the results should be inverted, but I will work hard and do my best to make it so that I can play as solid as he does, and archieve as much as he has.
but, yeah, we've played under his conditions and his rules, and I still managed to win, twice, he messed up onetime big time though, but I believe im capable of beating anyone. Kas and BratOK are in my opinion the best 2 at TvZ outside of korea, and the only 2 Terrans that I trully fear, so I have a challenge ahead of me, beating Kas in a tournament would feel great, but I realize that I am not the favorite here by any means and it will be incredibly hard to even put up a fight against him, this doesn't mean that regardless of the outcome I appreciate the support of all of the people who care to stand behind me and that I will work hard this year to meet my fanbase's expectations in tournaments and competitive play.
this is kind of bizzarre, but I guess its sort of a thank you to all of my supporters, as well as letting everyone else know that I am here to stick around and become the best player that I can be, and I am just happy and greatful to ONOG for giving me a chance here to prove myself, and I realize that for those who don't watch my stream of follow me closely, any one of my wins against these fantastic players will be considered an upset, for valid reasons and based on results, so big thanks to you as well for the constructive criticism, and I will do my best this year to keep on improving and provide some results progressively

Well played, you won those games fair and square. There's nothing better than proving over and over again what a good player you are

No shame in beating SaSe in a bo5. In fact, those that put it as a fluke is just making excuses. Prove them wrong today, CatZ!
