Let's have a nice clean LR thread folks! Beware that moderation will probably be stricter than usual, balance whine, player bashing and trolling will not be tolerated! |

Lost pretty concincingly g1 vs MVP, but held off an all in really nicely in g2 and broke out the sickest 2 base timing in g3. ==== GoGo MVP!! Great! I hope nestea can now get back on his path to glory. :D
And yes, go MVP!

If this keeps up the invites are flops regardless of reasoning. Sure koreans get seeds into foreigner tournaments but i'm pretty sure they place well overall. What's the code A/S foreigner invite results so far? Pretty horrible.

IdrA's grasp of timings was about ten seconds off that game. No big deal, really. Lucky did 2 x +1 roach timings after his nydus fail the first game; I don't think that makes him the better player. They're pretty close, with IdrA having better mechanics and Lucky having better decision making.
And while IdrA and Sen did disappoint with their Code S seeds, I'm sure it brought in many more international viewers, which is the point for GOM.

If MVP wins I get lots of liquibet points and I'm off to a really good start to the season.
Except Supernova ruining my points. I won't make that mistake again haha

I don't effing do it in my polls kay?
I may post with bias at times but my polls are strictly based on "WAS THAT GAME EXCITING?!?!"
If it was, a plain old "yes" doesn't do it justice How is that "not bias"? That's the very definition of bias. Why even bother with a "poll" if you are deciding whether a game was "exciting" or not for us before even letting people vote. If you think the game was exciting is it so hard to let the poll results speak for themselves or at least edit the yes option after if it gets 90%+ votes? If I'm strapped for time and miss the live broadcast and I'm looking at poll results to see which games to watch I'm going to be pretty damn confused looking at your bias polls of "OH MY GOD" or "So.. beautiful.." that only has.. 50-60% votes for it and lots of no's and assume the poller is just an idiot. If the game was really so great then it should have 90%+ yes not half the people thinking it was meh. Let the poll results speak for themselves if you care about being useful to people who miss the live broadcast. Hey guise check out my republican primary poll it'll be very useful: vote for one 1- MITT ROMNEY!!!! OMG!! HES GONNA WIN! 2- Eh Rick Perry 3- ron paul (he's racist) 4- other people who cares o but I'm not bias.
Honestly, nobodys stopping you from making an unbiased poll yourself, if you REALLY have that big of a problem with it. It'll probably take you half the time it took you to write that post.

LOL, Idra's Code S run didn't last very long... :p That can happen when you get drawn into a group with the two greatest SC2 players of all time and a player who is known to be very good at mirror matchups. Since when is Lucky's ZvZ known to be very good? His games against Stephano at IPL3 weren't even close and his winrate is 44% on TLPD. Lul exactly. Lucky is known for having notoriously bad ZvZ in Korea. Enough to beat Idra. The difference in skill level between Koreans and foreigners is vast. This is a very weird thing to say considering how outplayed Lucky got in the first game and how close the second game was. I mean he hit a timing really blindly and it happened to work out. There was no way in hell he could have known that he would hit right before the hydras.
The first game was considerably closer than the second. The second was a really easy win for Lucky because of Idra's bungled all in.

ehm why would he not know that he would have a good chance of hitting a timing when he went hatch first and delayed idras hatch. Doesnt take much skill to understand that there is a window there, and lucky had the skill to execute a normal timing attack.

ok MVP not going for the super safe 1 base raven all in thats not all in but expanding instead like a girl.

In fact, Chae says in the interview that they might invite players that the sponsors want. Oh yeah, isnt that just lovely.
Which is important, and additionally he wants the league to be "Global". Might want to take the Football WorldCup example into perspective, instead of just looking at the reason you want to hate on and be sarcastic about.

Well MVP is just going to roll Lucky again anyways, and I need sleep.
