#BWiscoming hotbid?
I had expected ForGG to advance. I must say MC is back. After 6 months of dissapointing results, I think he is now back and ready to take another GSL title.
|
So apparently oGsMC is playing in the KSL in a couple of hours against Losira, too. What a fucking crazy person.

Even in what's been a slumping period I'd still take Nestea over most players when it comes to zvz I'll be legit surprised if we're still talking about NesTea being in a slump this time tomorrow. + Show Spoiler +

So for the record, I am not a Hardcore Naniwa fan. I respect him that's all. I am not boycotting the all season of GSL just the first one. I am currently aware that Naniwa admitted his fault. I find myself his comportment childish but comprehensible. GSL could have punish him financially, because he embarrassed them on TV and show a lack of respect. But their decision to punish him in a sport manner is just wrong. By doing that I see a message "Hey we do what we want. This is our tournament, so behave yourself". I can't approve that. This is not their tournament, this is our. Like Naniwa, GomTV owe us some respect. With their arbitrarily decision to revoke code S spot to Naniwa, without him breaking any rules, they disrespect the sport. We don't watch GSL because it's GSL. We watch GSL, because it's a sport competition with the best player. With their decision, they compromise the competition. I can't approve that. By boycotting the first GSL of 2012 (and I hope I am not the only one), I remind GomTV they have to behave themselves. They have to respect the competition, it's not their tournament, it's our. No, it's their tournament. You do understand that what he means is that we are paying for the tournament right? Not saying he is right but your comment is pretty useless too. You're right, when I pay to watch the Lakers and Kobe was given a technical foul for whining a have a right to make the shots. If a "paying customer" like me would be not be in command of the penalties that would be disrespectful of the NBA to ignore my personal thoughts. The paying customers make up the sport so what we feel is right should be followed. /endsarcasm /endsarcasm I was done posting about this, but your analogy was so awful I just have to correct it. It's more like paying for NBATV then watching the playoffs where the teams play bo7s. The lakers are playing and are down 4-0 vs the Mavericks (meaning they cannot advance), but instead of going home, the NBA forces the lakers to continue playing games vs the mavericks. They do not try whatsoever because they have already lost, and now the NBA punishes the Lakers for the next season because they didnt try in games that had no meaning and should not have been played. Wow you are so good at analogies. Read the quote before my post please. I`m sorry but i think you misunderstood me. I was just trying to point out what the guy before Fionn was arguing. I`m not saying that we as the viewers actually "own" GOMTV or their broadcasts, but that as the consumers of their product one could argue that we should hold sway over their decisions to some degree. Taking into consideration what the consumers want is essential for any business. Whether Naniwa deserved to lose his Code S spot or not I do not know, and I highly doubt that the majority of viewers even care about it. So that GOM did not change their decision because of the rather limited outcry is a reasonable decision. But nice job trying to attribute some strange straw man argument to me. Of course I did not mean what you wrote, I would be crazy to. Does not mean I`m wrong though, since that was never what I wrote or intended with my post.
But there is also paying customers who are super happy with the decision so should they hold a poll next time ? you cant please everyone, thats why you do what you think is the best for your product. In this case they set an example to everyone that fucking up their tournaments wont be tollerated which i think is a great atitude.
And to everyone saying the format ist stupid:
If nani played better that day he wouldnt have had to play meaningless games ! end of story

Are you serious or did I just get trolled! I just typed hot6 in google and I now understand that hot6 is very close to hot sex. Glad nobody was looking over my shoulder.

Ahh, nothing like wakin' up in the morning to see the latent LR thread arguments--and that MC pulled through. GO MC!

Did not expect those results, still happy to see MC back in the house

Good job to Supernova for defying expectations and MC for being a boss and advancing from the group of death right after getting off a plane. :D

My Liquibets.... T.T my poor poor liquibets.

Damn...it's like Supernova just exists to kill my liquibets.
Every time i vote for him, he plays terribly, every time i vote against him, he owns it up T_T

ForGG looks like he's still not figured out the proper way to play SC2. He's got the A class BW mechanic, but he needs to understand that battle engagement and combat micro is more important in SC2 than pumping out units faster than the other guy. He breezed through Code A with nothing but his incredible mechanic and precise unit control, but his battle engagement was so horrible in all of his games... like fighting mass zerglings on creep or bio ball vs sentries. I think he lacks game experience at this level but I believe it's only a matter of time until he reaches the MVP status.
Loved watching MC's play vs Leenock. He is making more effort into scouting, understanding that as long as he doesn't get a build order loss he has a great chance at winning.
edit: on a more serious (or not so serious) note, the real reason ForGG went down so hard was because of Fionn's jinx!! I think SuperNova should be very thankful for that!

Dear god! I went to play some DotA after seing MC go 1-3 and now I come back to see him make out 5-4...what a fucking boss

Saying things like "it's their tournament" may be true but a pretty stupid argument since you can apply it to anything gom ever makes even if 100 % of the viewers thinks they are doing something bad.
