They survive the entire fight which means their dps last throughout the whole battle. But when terran get a large enough bio deathball and medivacs, they become absolute garbage. Ultras don't even have enough dps to kill a rine being healed before getting killed. Though when terran reach this stage, the game is already lost for zerg. Not even fungal can kill marines. The only hope is for good baneling connections which code s terrans will never allow. The only reason why drg can use them effectively is because he is actually so damn good at the game and can utilise ultras to end the game before terran can mass up properly. Not even drg can use ultras in the late late-game (e.g vs supernova). Moral of story: The true imbalanced units are the flying healers, not marines :D
