I don't think you can blame late-game map imbalance on theStc's loss there. He went for a 2-base push against a quick third, decided to turn around, then took his own third probably almost 10 minutes after Finale did. He was way behind by the time it got to the "late-game".

Why didnt he get the hydra den down earlier? He did not need the spire since colossus were never going to come that early (all that gas into sentries). Ten hydras would of let him hold that.

That was bad, but he'd already lost by that point. He had overdroned, got supply blocked twice and had too many unupgraded Roaches against a Sentry/Stalker/Immortal composition.
