Also scheduling 30 minutes for 1 round is really unrealistic, I don't think any tournament does this. Minimum of 1 hour per round is standard (you need to account for matches not starting exactly on time, games going longer than expected, etc). The schedule is not meant to be air tight as matches will just be covered as we go. The reason why you see semi finals and finals listed early is because you are not taking into account that its top 2 from winner bracket and top 1 from loser bracket that qualify for Sao Paulo. We do not finish the entire tournament bracket because it is completely unnecessary.

Gotta love players who get an invite and then toss it...I'm sure others would have made more use of it.

I'm sorry I tried to play it early but I literally just got back from Germany so I lost. I couldn't play it the next day at normal start time due to class. I didn't toss it.

Gotta love events that give invites to people who will be out of the country and get back when the event starts be smarter with your invites next time /sarcasm Just because someone is invited doesn't mean things won't come up/complications won't happen. No need to be all upset about it :-/ Obviously KR should have probably given his spot away when he found out he was going to homestory/was getting back if he thought he wouldn't have enough time though.

Your speaking like you know the situation completely. He/ His manager requested an invite to the tournament BECAUSE of homestory cup, and it wasn't like it was an unforeseen complication. A little weird someone doesn't know their school schedule, so I think I have some rights to be a little annoyed.

School schedule also change/he could have asked for an invite before he had that knowledge. I still think you over reacted saying he "tossed it" which, to me atleast, says that you think he THREW his match against suppy and then forfieted because he didn't care(which I don't think KR would do). Maybe I am just reading to much into how you phrased it but that was my inital reaction to it.

However, he was way too tired to play and he lost. He didn't quit out, he tried to play under his circumstances.

The email with the schedule came in yesterday, so I couldn't have known school would conflict. But honestly any reply I can make is just an excuse at this point. So, sorry. If I can get home in time for loser round 1 then I will try to play if you still allow it. I was incredibly frustrated last night and said I'd forfeit. Thanks

Thanks Its water under the bridge at this point. Try to play if you can. I guess Xeris forgot to tell you because I definitely let all the invites know what time the champ bracket was way ahead of time. "This is to announce to you that KawaiiRice does recieve the championship bracket invitation. He will be due to play on the 10th of January starting at 8:00 pm EST. " Was the pm I sent to him on January 3rd, so he probably just forgot to forward the information to you.
