That was a really great series I was so sure MMA would take it 4:0 or 4:1 after the first two games , didnt expect that.

In the last game I really felt the tension and got nervous even though I didnt really want either one to lose but it would've
been really harsh for MMA.

My god. Somehow GOM manages to save the most epic series when it will have the most impact (gstl finals, last tourney of the year) almost like it's scripted. Amazing ending to the year for sc2, you couldn't have asked for a better ending (maybe only better if DRG completed the comeback). So sad I missed it live. Even knowing the 7th game was apparently epic before watching, I was still so sure DRG was dead with MMAs push with tanks on cliffs after DRG lost his broodlords and gg would be soon, but somehow he managed to push all the way back to MMAs base. Sick game, sick ending. Thank you gom and the players for putting on a great show.

As much as I like MMA, it would've been INCREDIBLE to see DRG reverse sweep and I was a little heart broken when he lost at the end, what a finals!

I think the fact that MMA didn't make ghost until 45' actually made the game better. I mean the game was just pure control and decision rather than watching MVP with a tanks line, PFs and 40 ghosts to snipe everything. Just much better to watch. Ghost with sniping is fun to watch sometimes but mostly in late TvZ is just painful to watch.

Had some friends over last night to watch but they were asleep by game 3. >_<

Great finals, just wish they would have started sooner. Even I was tired by the end and I am a tank, was hard getting to sleep after that game 7 though.

Got to disagree. I thought MMA's decision making, control and multi-tasking was superior to Jjakji. Where Jjakji excelled was in his builds and preparation. He had a number of inventive, tricky builds while MMA pretty much went for the same hellion expand for all 7 games. Although you have to consider the tournament duration. Jjakji had 5 days to prep for the finals. MMA played the entire tournament in 5 days.

I know this is going to be so completely random and out there. But I really hope st_ace can start coming back from his slump and start being in a position where he plays more games and we can see more games out of him. I always believed he is a great player and it'd be a shame if he can't have any breakout performances.

EDIT: I seriously seriously hope he can get the most improved player award.

Just finished the series, absolutely incredible, game 7 was just unbelievable, so back and forth. I couldn't have wished for a better two players, after all the stories of GSTL, how they were the two ace players for their teams meeting in the GSTL the history with them at MLG and them being the best two players at there opposite matchup, finally meeting in the final in epic fashion, DRG best ZvT, possibly best Zerg in the world; MMA best TvZ, possibly best Terran in the world. Amazing.

In tears after that..
