Can't go to lunch without coming back to 20+ reports. This makes me upset. Stop the bullshit or get ready to hammered. Thanks --Pholon |

Its his game to throw away, and obviously doesn't care about other people on the internet and what they think. I've been in that state of mind, already lost and still having to compete (in sports competitions). And I understand where he is coming from. People should just leave him be, its already a lot of pressure and defeat to deal with as it is.
NaNi 화이팅! The $800 or so he won in this tournament comes from the pockets of fans who pay to tune in, and sponsors who pay to have their products on the show.
Both of those parties would much, much rather see games that at least show some signs of being legitimate games, rather than obvious forfeits.
The fuss is that he was paid money to play in this tournament (in the form of a prizepool for all player, and in the form of airfare/lodging/per diem as needed), and he couldn't be bothered to even pretend to play a real game.

Not sure if this has been brought up, and not gonna trawl through 300 pages to find out...
in IPL 3, Idra forfieted 3 of his group round games, didn't even play them, just refused. And noone cared. Why is this such a big deal?

forfeiting group games is much better then playing them and doing a joke build. Forfeiting doesn't waste the casters time etc. and doesn't mock the tournament and opponent. Probe rush is just awful, if he had forfeited it would have been ok.

Cause its FOTM to hate on Naniwa for no apparent reason at all, they are just hating for the sake of it. Give me one GOOD reason why we should hate on him, he's a good player after all.

I would understand peoples annoyance if Nestea had needed to win that game, but the fact is that they were both already out of the tournament, so it didn't even matter who won. The game was pointless, and when I watch games like that I sometimes wish they would just end so that the show can move on to games that actually matter.

I'm sorry, but how can Naniwa spend the rest of his life in code A if he's currently in code S?

He forfeited because of fatigue/jet lag I believe, and he missed his game vs Haypro because he was watching Huks game and he didnt hear the call for his match. Thats why no one cared. NaNiwa's situation is a bit different but I also think some people are still overreacting to it.

wouldnt the underlying reason be the same though? naniwa said in his interview that he knew the game that he played wouldnt be 100% of his effort because he was so disappointed from losing the other games. fatigue/jet lag for idra would mean that idra knows that he wouldnt play 100% of his best/effort either. i think people are way overreacting because it was the tournament that was supposed to show all the top players in the world and nani threw a game. no matter what nani could do at that point in time would have satisfied the viewers imo due to his mental state

Or someone to instill some rationality and compassion in them. But you'd have to be rational and compassionate yourself to do that, and those are unwanted qualities in most people today. The current system of economy wouldn't exist if it were wanted, and without that system human society would be very different--and irrational people fear change, without effort to find out whether they consider it good or bad.
Saying a kid needs a spanking is quite the same as saying an adult who makes a mistake should be executed instead of given a chance to redeem themselves. It's amusing how so many people believe a human can be taught to not behave a certain way with fear of punishment, but not with an understanding of how said behavior might hurt another, and enough compassion to choose to behave differently, for that reason.

I'd call Leenock the best zerg in the world right now.

I still don't know if leenock has the experience to pull a GSL win
i know he won providence, but the GSL is a completely different ball game
if he beats MC in the first round, he still has to play DRG 2nd, who has beaten him before

p.s. this is MVP's tournament, he's gonna win and show everyone why he qualified for this tournament three times

He played an amazing game vs Leenock, didn't win but I've never seen such good ff+storms. Also created like a dozen threads full of drama. MMA can't do that. Nestea can't do that. Only Naniwa. im sure if MMA or nestea acted like naniwa did there would be huge drama. But they didn't and probably never will. How does creating a shitstorm qualify as a talent?
I'm sorry. Is he mistaken? I thought it was true...because that's what growing up with the Kardashians taught me.
