Jjakji should have known to attack zerg after killing the army had put him down to 11 scv. I cant believe he tried to secure that 3rd after that when it was obvious leenock would be able to macro up much easier.

He did know. He was trying to make a couple ravens and he needed minerals.

Seriously, you should be comfortable assuming that anything you can think of Jjakji already thought of it 100x faster than you. He's kinda good at this game.

from crappy Rainbow vs FD to this Final
my SC2 friends we come so far

Rainbow vs. Fruitdealer was an awesome final.

Well, maybe not, but I remember watching it live, and while the series itself wasn't great, but Fruitdealer made it amazing. It was a piece of history being fashioned before our eyes. The man who made Zerg look possible.

yea if we go back and watch now htey're probably horrible games, but FD beating rainbow (and beating so many terrans on such a terran favored map pool) was quite amazing his story was great too

and then nestea with a similar story, and he wins haha

and then blizzard is like, wait 2 zergs just won, aren't they UP tho? xD

Let it be known TvZ is the best matchup in SC2. By far.

What I find a little annoying is that Artosis didn't mention that Jjakji used the buildings to find banemines by trying to land them.
Such creative play.

How? was he shooting his buildings ?

He tried to land them, when they wouldn't land, he'd know where the mines were.

Another amazing game, Jjakji played great but just couldn't get enough of an advantage to nullify the map disadvantages.

Leenock played out the end of that perfectly.

The map and his poor execution of the 2 port cloaked banshee, not to mention Leenock had the perfect gameplan for that, fast lair + spire.

Poor execution? I think he didnt even have the money to start two banshees so the supply depot just finished when he had enough to start the banshees. Also it didn't matter at all to cloak early in hindsight. There is nothing you can do if your opponent is prepared like Leenock was. Would love to take a look at the replay though to be sure about this.

Did we even watch the same game?

To be honest, this thread is pretty big for 2 hours of sc2 action.
The NASL has been going on for... 10-12 hours? and only has 480 pages

Insane games so far, also does anyone else see that the "Final set 5" looks kinda like "Anal set 5" on a smaller gom player window? :D

The banshees were queued up but not building because of the supply block.
But yeah, i guess it wouldn't be a LR without balance whine..

Usually I'm spamming away, but these are so good that I have it on full screen and not paying attention to the thread, being fully immersed into the games. :3

JJakji please rally back and bring it to a game 7

No huge names (MVP, NesTea, MC, etc), a lot of people probably were burnt out after watching the NASL for 7 hours. Too bad for them.

4 games in and we've already had the BEST GSL FINAL EVER.
It's not even low expectations. This series has been thrilling. This series has been a validation for every late night, early morning and missed social obligation so I can talk to you guys and watch starcraft together with people that love it as much as I do.

My god- it took two first timers to give us the greatest GSL final that we've ever had. But it's finally arrived.

Amazing.

Oh and by the way. WHEN WILL TERRAN LEARN TO MAKE FUKING RAVEN instead of spending 5000 minerals with scans...
