When mkp's good, he's really really good. When he's bad, he's really really bad. That's why he can make us fans either high or want to bash our heads on a wall. That said, i don't think his problem is nerve issues or weak mentality. His problem is Mvp.

No his mental strength was not the best, not just Mvp.
He himself said (to Polt at least) that he got overconfident in his semi-final against MMA, and threw away a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2. He improved quite a lot on it tho (see his extended serie against sC in providence for example), I think that if he improves his tvt to the level of Mvp's one, he will have the mental strenght necessary to beat him.

Anyways it was a great clanwar, but I'm a bit disappointed by the number of protoss/zerg used by both teams, I wanted to see some terran action t;t. Khaldor and ToD did a great job, ToD's commentary is as amazing as always (remember HSC 2? :D).
CreatorPrime displaying his skills again, this young protoss gonna go far in the future (he already helped Prime A LOT in GSTL playoff)

Idk why I'm bothering to talk about this when he didn't even play today, but he has really volatile results because of his builds. It's really not a mystery, but he's had success in high pressure situations like up and down, and gotten deep enough in live tournaments to the point where I'll say he doesn't have nerve issues.

Same with Bomber. He's said so himself that he doesn't have any issues with nerves, and I've never heard of MKP saying anything about it either so people should stop speculating random things like that. The only thing I've heard MKP say is how good of a player MVP is.

Actually many korean pros are saying that (source Artosis, god of everything) MKP is not that frightening IRL, but on the ladder he's almost unbeatable.

That's ladder, and ladder maps are way different from GSL maps which don't favor MKP's style.

He raped AOL 1 aswell and this was not on ladder maps. He won because he is better at his home/teamhouse playing online Tournaments.

So? He still loses online tournies, it's not like he's unbeatable like you say at all. Also, I've watched those games, and it's not like he executes better than I see him at live tournaments. His opponents are just much more prepared. He's made it to enough LAN finals to the point where you can't discern performance quality, but his opponents in the live finals are typically 10x better like MVP.

I wouldn't call him mentally weak. Because if he is that he will never get in deep. I would say that when he's focused he is strong. What he is is young and maybe immature. Still unstable and subject to bouts of insecurity. Esp. after losing to Mvp.

I'm glad to see more players from prime growing into their own.
