So true, it's so bad to watch the crowd from MLGs to immediately get up and leave before the award is given. At least people in Dreamhack show some respect for the players. This didn't happen at all the MLG's... remember Anaheim and Columbus were amazing. It's just the venue they chose at Providence, the population there didn't seem as into the game. It's not something MLG can control if the crowd wants to leave... but next time, MLG may smarten up and hold their events in SoCal from now on. Why risk poor crowds traveling around when you can have an awesome crowd every time in Anaheim?
People are trying to compare apples to oranges and forget the MLG is a traveling thing and always deals with a different venue, a way different type of tournament, and a way different business model.

The fact that no one notices this is really stupid

how are they supposed to win, if they only complain of P beeing imba, and leave the field of raping P and Z to Korean Terrans, which they did quite well in these past half year.

Damn this translator is boss, knows korean english AND swedish..

That interview was great tbh. Translater was obviousy swedish/korean so the answeres were much more "elaborate". Thanks for the link.
Haha great ending by the "host": Ok now everyone, have a really nice gaming-christmas! Don't care what your parents/siblings/girlfriends/wives and children say, game on!
Very rough translation, but it makes the point he was making .P

Most people travel to get there and have flights and other things to deal with, which is why they don't stay for the ceremony. I went to Orlando, and unfortunately had to leave right as the finals were starting.
Well maybe another thing to consider MLG, that sunday people have to prepare for monday. Europe misses lots of finals because they have to go to bed to go to work the other day.

I don't see a lot of them moving over no matter how much money you throw at them. People thought that of HuK... And they would be idiots. Liquid and eg jockeyed for huk for a long time, even before he was on liquid. It's not particularly shocking huk moved on.

FML I got home and my friend told me the games ended like 2 minutes ago.
I NEED the vods now (((

Great games! Although that ending was still a bit on the awkward side. They should have added some music when they were holding the prizes, because the way it was they were just standing there with a somewhat silent crowd, asking themselves "so...can i go now or do i just keep holding this?". Other than that the tournament was amazing! :D

One small fact to have some stats
Of the notable korean players participating in dreamhack, only Genius lost a match to a foreigner, for being such a small amount, koreans dominated this DH, and mostly eliminated each other
