I agree. I know when i am playing an intense game i get going and its not because i am nervous - no reason for me to be. Its ladder and i dont really care about score. But i am going, Oh does he have this, this, or this? Gotta go macro, back to micro. There is so much to do that i do think when you get your APM up and are thinking about tons of things at once it will rise your pulse. I mean look at hero, he doesnt look nervous, he looks concentrated. Dont get me wrong, he could be nervous... but i feel like Hero has enough experience to be over most of his nerves.

o_o I'm confused =S I think Ret didn't play this properly. However he seems to be all right still if he manages to change the composition. And no matter what day9 says, adrenal glands are a total waste of 200/200 at this point of the game with that comp, lings are mostly for meatshield

Amateurs used the analytical part of the brain to think about what to do next while the pros actually used the part of their brain associated with instinct, ie: they actually aren't thinking about the step by step process so much as executing all their mechanics automatically. Precisely. Other areas like the frontal lobe and I forgot the other one were more active compared to the others in their studies.

I'd like to point out, again, that the *CHANGE* in pulse is what matters. NOTHING ELSE. And RET has peaked WAY high, Hero is stable at 150 ish with small fluctuations, that makes him fired up, not nervous.
