Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.

In addition leave the usual out of this topic:

-Balance complaints
-Map complaints
-Stream complaints
-Caster/player bashing
-Off topic discussions

Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned
upon. Enjoy the free and wonderful event with loads of games and coverage!

How can people be so ignorant? Do you know nothing about Stephano?

Hurts my brain.

Only a select and the most stupid group of people choose to be ignorant. Most just can't help it. Who knows which group this guy belongs to.

Is there no possibility for a three-way-tie Cloud-Nani-Stephano?

he's through, cloud lost 3 maps already

yea Stephano was a fluke just winning 3 tournaments wtf you nub be quit. You cant win them all

LOL you just show up EVERYWHERE when Stephano needs to be protected. Cute.

It really should have been obvious that Stephano wasn't going to do well in this tournament unless he got lucky with his bracket like he normally does. He doesn't have any real determination it seems and you can really only keep falling if you don't have any determination. The only thing keeping him going is money, and that just isn't good enough of a reason to be able to keep up.

No, he is in a massive slump + Show Spoiler +
lolololol

Not slump at all. He is still top 5 foreigners. And he still has decent chance to advance in this group.
He has advantage against puma based on previous results. We may get a 3 way tiebreaker in this group.

There is no top 5 foreigners. For every 5 foreigners you name I will name you 5-10 others that are on at least the same level as the worst of the 5.

Stephano hasn't even been posting that poor results this tournament, he went 3-0 in his group and then lost against sheth and naniwa (one of who arguably is the on form foreigner finishing second at MLG finals). The only "poor" result in these five games is losing to sheth, who looks more than decent here imo.

Poor EG, all three most likely would've gotten top 16 if groups were just a tad different.

nani takes first in the group if he beats sheth with 2-0

Yea behind Stephano but the difference is Stephano has to win every tournament while Idra dont. Matter infact Idra havent even won 1/10 was Sephano has won. So double standards and plain hate towards Stephano

Stephano just happened to win the tournaments with higher prize pools. IdrA's MLG Orlando placing was a far harder path than either of Stephano's wins. IEM was comparable in difficulty to the tournament in France yet had barely any prize pool compared to it. Prize winnings aren't a determination of who is a better player unless you think Sjow is the third best foreigner.

Wow, Naniwa beat Stephano?

Were they long macro games or were they just a 2 base Protoss timing attack?

EDIT: Wow, Naniwa also lost to Cloud and Stephano lost 2 matches?

Long macro games. What people doesnt realize is that naniwas 2 base timing isnt an all in. Stephano survived them and gained an advantage but lost in the end.
