Wtf why would you put the results of Mvp vs. sC inside the overall results of Leenock vs. aLive? I didn't want to watch Leenock series but was looking forward to Mvp vs. sC, but spoiled hard -.-

Can't believe sC got 3-0'ed, even by Mvp ;-;

people are overhyping leenocks 2-0 win vs mvp lmao

they were both tired, yet mvp played so many broadcasted games back to back, leenock did have a bit of a breather

and in the end, regardless of fatigue, leenock played the better series, and mvp made mistakes

let's not kid ourselves, mvp played like a chump in their series, and that is not his usual level of play

when the semi's rolls around and mvp crushes poor leenock, i wonder if all these comments will disappear. but leenock is great, so we can only wait and see!

I think its a 50/50 match leenock vs MvP... But I have inside information

it's cool to be proud of your psuedo team players, but until someone proves otherwise, MVP being #1 is no joke or opinion.

MVP is rank number 1 in the world at the moment....But there are plenty of up and comers, and I am not talking about FXO only..

I am an MVP fan.. Maybe not quite as much as you.. NESTEA has proven in the past (which is what your opinion based on) that he is also as good as if not better than MVP..

But hey, I am just proud of a pseudo team...

Nestea is not close to MVP's level. Correct me if I'm wrong, but has Nestea ever beaten MVP when it counted? MVP knocked him out of 3 GSL's and beat him in the Blizzcon finals. MVP has no peer as far as the long term history of this game is concerned or current skill level.

MVP has the best mechanics in the game right now because of his high level in broodwar as well as the best strategies and builds. He also has the best preparation for a best of 5 in my opinion. I really think MVP will 3-0 and I'll be surprised if Leenock wins 2 games let alone the series.

Thats not a slight to Leenock, but I really can't see him beating MVP. I've been wrong before tho.

MVP actually doesn't have the best mechanics in the game. That's just you being biased because he's a champion. Mechanics are definitely not his strength. Yes he has very good mechanics but I would definitely say Bomber has better macro, etc. MVP excels in his build selection (strategy) and decision making. His preparation for games also is absolutely amazing.

Bomber has not played as good as he was used to play, he was supply block far too often against Rainbow for exemple

Leenock vs MVP is going to be sick, and smells like a finals. Especially for Leenock, I could see MVP falling to Oz since his TvP is a bit shaky.

I wouldn't be so quick to overlook Jjakji. He's got some pretty good Protoss players on NSHoseo to practice with, so he could very well come into his semifinal match and take it. As for MVP, considering he has the best TvZ around and the revenge angle for extra motivation, I would expect him to beat Leenock.

Edit: Also forgot that Puzzle was Jjakji's last opponent, so you know he's been practicing that TvP nonstop.

But you forget Leenock has some of the best ZvT around and also smashed MVP at MLG so he has confidence on top of great skill so i don't know MVP might lose tihs one

Leenock smashed a tired MVP at MLG

I think Leenock would've been tired too, they both went through the open bracket.

Naw man didn't you hear? Leenock had a clone play through the open bracket for him, then right when he was about to face MVP he arrived on his private jet. It had it's own personal chef and masseuse.

leenock had a little break before playing mvp. and he's 4 years younger

Um.... if Leenock was 26 and MVP was 30, that might make a bit more sense, but they're 16 and 20...

Damn. I thought MVP was out in the first two games for sure. He made some amazing decisions that pretty much won him the game. He's the best Terran in the world at the moment and could be the best player in SC2 as well.

Ahh poor sC. I just wanted whoever won that match to take the whole thing though, so I guess it is for the best that MVP won again. It just sucks that he had to get 3-0ed. It seems TvT may still be his worst matchup (not that losing hard to MVP is the best indication).

3/4 3-0. Hopefully this gets it out of GSL system so we can have a good semi-finals and a great finals. Really sad that Alive and sC both got 3-0'd. The MVP vs sC games were great really shows the diversity of TvT.

People are more likely to whine about another 4:0-final then.

I think Oz would have a better chance against Leenock and MVP, but Jjakji's tvp is one of the best. :/

Don't get me wrong. I do 100% believe MVP is the best player in the world. But his greatness is attributed to a whole list of qualities such as dealing with pressure well, preparation, strategy, decision making, mindset, his mind games etc etc etc. I just don't think he has the best mechanics in the world.

Mvp will beat Leenock easily and Jjakji can beat Mvp, it will be interesting

mvp beat leenock easily? dont think so

Why not?
He and MarineKing practice a lot together, and MKP has Leenock's number...

Leenock beat MVP at MLG....

Yes he was.

He's being sarcastic. What he's saying is that MVP wasn't in his best shape. Or making a joke of how the real MVP wasn't at MLG. *facepalm*

people are overhyping leenocks 2-0 win vs mvp lmao

they were both tired, yet mvp played so many broadcasted games back to back, leenock did have a bit of a breather

and in the end, regardless of fatigue, leenock played the better series, and mvp made mistakes

let's not kid ourselves, mvp played like a chump in their series, and that is not his usual level of play

when the semi's rolls around and mvp crushes poor leenock, i wonder if all these comments will disappear. but leenock is great, so we can only wait and see!
IMMvp #1

nuff said.

I think its a 50/50 match leenock vs MvP... But I have inside information

lmao

"FXOpen"

it's cool to be proud of your psuedo team players, but until someone proves otherwise, MVP being #1 is no joke or opinion.

Smartest post I've read on TL all day. MVP has really really good mechanics but not quite the best. Whenever MVP has time to prepare for a match he always knows exactly what build to choose and exactly how to execute it and that is what makes him a champion, not necessarily his mechanics.
