Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:
- NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever.
Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment. |

I guess foreigners are still behind, in that respect. spot on

I understand that TL is probably filled with more Naniwa fans than Leenock fans, but saying that Leenock doesnt deserve the win (after he played the entire way through the OPEN BRACKET), or that he "cheesed his way" into a win is so ignorant.
Naniwa has done the same strategy pretty much every game vs Zerg this tournament. It is obviously something that works for him. Leenock obviously figured this out. Scouting a Nexus before Forge and then punishing it with a roach push isnt cheese.

kinda sad. No its not, Leenock is the korean boy genius. Also, yay go Leenock! He's getting cheesed, not mindgamed they're the same. "He cheesed me last game, probably won't do it again!" seriously, who still dies to 7 roach rush 4 times in a row? A normal zerg player when protoss is super greedy. Macro cheese is the same as normal cheese btw.

ah smart followup, naniwa has so many sentries infested terran will destroy him for sure...

If they couldn't see that nani was crushing zergs because their BOs sucked then that's their mistake, there was nothing wrong with what nani did, just as there's nothing wrong with what leenock's doing.
I'm just pointing out that people have been shit-talking players for executiong punishing builds all weekend, how can anybody be surprised. Also people just now in the finals trying to talk sense seems a bit...late?

lol if you think this LR thread is bad then take a look at the youtube stream live comments that shit is sickening, no respect shown AT ALL

Stop being so damn ignorant about the game! Winning a game doesn't mean it was enjoyable to watch for people. Yes but winning the way Leenock is winning doesn't mean he is a terrible player; in fact what he is doing proves that he is an intelligent player that has really thought about his strategies I get that the games aren't entertaining, but appreciate the strategy and mind games behind it Not that i need to say it, but what its going on its not strategy and mind games, its just "oh god I can beat at long game" which transitioned intro "let's try a cheese" which then transitioned into "omg the cheese won, lets keep cheesing", be it that he wins, whatever, do it, that doesn't mean that there is any mind games or strategy behind it, cheese exist because its effective against anything that doesn't prepare for it, and if you prepare and your opponent does not cheese then you are behind and practically forced to all in yourself.
"long game" with Naniwa? He's been two base timing all tournament, that's the ONLY thing he does. It's a strategy game, Naniwa came out with some great timings this tournament and it almost won for him. Leenock counters by punishing the fast expansion and continues to do so until Naniwa stops it. Hating on either player for this type of play is just wrong, they are playing to win, like they should.

Leenock is following in july's footsteps
the 40 minute game must happen!

cmon nani, make it interesting
