Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly: - NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever. Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

The advantage that Naniwa is having right now has very little to do with extended series. Sure it's a bit weird but alternatively Leenock has to win 2 Bo3 while Naniwa only 1. Same deal.

A final for 50k, the culmination of a year of tournaments could be decided in 2 games. Format blows.

Why should everyone get a second chance except the guy who has the best and havn't lost yet? If Naniwa got eliminated after 1 BO3 that would be unfair <.<

Its just that naniwa never lost and therefore still hast his "two lifes" while leenock already lost once and therefore doesnt have 2 lifes. If naniwa had beaten leenock earlier on he would start this with an advantage of 2-0. This. Leenock lot to DRG 2-0 while Naniwa hasn't dropped a set. It is only fair for Naniwa to have two lives as every other player does. Dominating the competition should not be punished.

If you don't respect or understand that, then it shows you don't quite grasp the level of play going on here It's called knowing timings, you don't need to go to korea to stop that cheese, sorry.

I'm not sure what the term is for this, but Leenock having to start 0-2 vs Naniwa in a bo7 is just sickening i hate MLG for making their GF so anti-climactic, sigh Oh ffs. This is not an extended series. This, at the moment, is just normal double elimination, with the player from the winnerbracket having an advantage.

No pictures on scoreboards, Naniwa won and that is all that matters to me right now! Plus we've seen really good players make up huge disadvantages dozens of times, Naniwa just played nearly perfectly to make sure that didn't happen.
