Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:

- NO Balance Whine.
- NO Player Bashing.
- NO Caster Bashing.
- NO BM whatsoever.

Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

So people usually always insist on double elimination in an important tournament but don't want to deal with Winner Brackets advantage?

The advantage that Naniwa is having right now has very little to do with extended series. Sure it's a bit weird but alternatively Leenock has to win 2 Bo3 while Naniwa only 1. Same deal.

I wonder if naniwa consistently does that two zealot move out thing so he can get a read on a potential roach all in and get cannons up in time..

wtf? if anything, naniwa does not has as much of an advantage as he'd usually have in a tournament with a lower bracket. the standard is 2 bo3s. so stop whining pls!

Format is fine

A final for 50k, the culmination of a year of tournaments could be decided in 2 games.

Format blows.

He probably could have won with it though if he had not let the roaches get spotted by the zealots.

How can it be unfair?

Why should everyone get a second chance except the guy who has the best and havn't lost yet? If Naniwa got eliminated after 1 BO3 that would be unfair <.<

love MLG but this extended rules series has to go, at least for the finals... should be a clean best of 5 or best of 7 to determine the champion.

This is no extended series.
If naniwa had beaten leenock earlier on it wouldve been an extended series.

Its just that naniwa never lost and therefore still hast his "two lifes" while leenock already lost once and therefore doesnt have 2 lifes.

If naniwa had beaten leenock earlier on he would start this with an advantage of 2-0.

This. Leenock lot to DRG 2-0 while Naniwa hasn't dropped a set. It is only fair for Naniwa to have two lives as every other player does. Dominating the competition should not be punished.

LOL yes, so true, even I can walk with Zealots across the map. If I happen to look on the screen I win.

There's a reason Naniwa sends those zealots out at that time. If you don't respect or understand that, then it shows you don't quite grasp the level of play going on here

It's called knowing timings, you don't need to go to korea to stop that cheese, sorry.

i hate MLG for making their GF so anti-climactic, sigh

Oh ffs. This is not an extended series. This, at the moment, is just normal double elimination, with the player from the winnerbracket having an advantage.

It was HuK going raw 4 gate and had a hidden probe in his base with proxy pylons against Youngwhas 3 stalker into late 4 gate with double gas.

Naniwa didn't win this game, Leenock lost it.

No pictures on scoreboards, Naniwa won and that is all that matters to me right now!

Plus we've seen really good players make up huge disadvantages dozens of times, Naniwa just played nearly perfectly to make sure that didn't happen.

Overheard that Leenock was going all-in first game because he hates Shakuras - RT @robpsimpson: leenock seemed uncomfortable on that map :\
